We are in the process of employing a gardener ....just to do the heavy stuff ...like digging and weeding ....and mowing lawns ....itâs too much for Mr B now ....so he can just sit back and enjoy it ...and potter if heâs up to it

Yes , weâve been here for nearly 30 years .....from a new build .....we arenât good gardeners by any means .....but we do keep it tidy ....and colourful ....but at the moment itâs one of those worries we could do without ....but we still want to enjoy it , so .....

Ours was like that initially , but we are detached and on a large corner plot , so it was quite daunting

Our soil is heavy clay ....but our back and side garden are basically south facing .....so we have sun most of the day ....whereas the front only gets sun from late afternoon onwards
I don't like the big white van towering over the garden.

Iâve got polyanthus and pansies in my tubs and hanging baskets at the front .....and loads of daffs , tulips and hyacinths in the ones at the back ....
