You have to take a huge leap of faith.. but honest... it is sooooo worth it.    

Its not that bizarre when you think about sweet bbq ribs or honey roast pork (Char sui pork... the chinese version)... its along the same lines as that

I knew this was Nigella before I opened the thread, because it's in a recipe book of hers that I've got. I've not tried it yet, but I bet it works. The saltiness of the ham versus the sweetness of the coke? Mmmmm...
Mind you, the book also has a recipe for a pudding called "pig's bum", which I'm less sure about..

My brother did this last year and this year and it's simply delicious! How did yours turn out?
