I wouldn't be put off by the sex scenes, but the trailers just haven't grabbed me for some reason.   Then again, I've never got into LOTR or anything like that either.  

Its more about power struggles, intrigue and boo hiss characters with lots of action thrown in. I didn't think it'd be my cup of tea, but it was much better than I expected

 

I didn't like LOTR... you couldn't really compare them,.. theres  more life in G.O.T.

 

I'm watching it now - I love love love it and the imp is my favourite character

Hey! Quit tainting my thread with the rudey bits! Yes there's scenes in it, but the entire story is epic.

It's kings/kingdoms/dragons type stories baz, and it's a series of books first, then it was developed into a TV series
