FM's are invited to imagine themselves cast away on a desert island, and to choose eight pieces of music to take with them.

You can choose one book to take. The Bible, or another religious or philosophical work and the Complete Works of Shakespeare are provided automatically to all FM castaways.

You can also choose one luxury, which must be inanimate and of no use in escaping the island or allowing communication from outside. Large supplies of champagne are allowed.

Just songs.

Not if you're going by the radio show rules. People there are allowed to choose pieces of classical music, such as a Beethoven symphony, which would certainly take up a whole album Razzer

Hmmm, OK, you can have long classical pieces, but not pop/rock etc albums. Razzer

LPs or singles?

(and did the use of "LPs" make me sound old? Ninja )

Singles, unless it's classical, and yes, LP's does make you sound old, but it's ok because most of us here are old and know what you mean. Thumbs Up

How about if all the songs on the albums (LPs for the oldies) are mixed so they don't have gaps inbetween??!! Razzer I think it's unfair on people who wouldn't take classical music. Crying (I want to take Radiohead!!!)

Ah, but when the plane crashes on the way home you'll regret not planning in advance for this. Nod
