Don't get sarky - I'm going to look at it tomorrow
It's Have I Got News For You here, so easy to pretend that I'm laughing at that
These 2 blogs were mentioned in today's Metro:
Angry people in local newspapers
and
Glum Councillors blog
What to expect...
Angry people in local newspapers
British journalism has many fine traditions - fearlessly speaking truth to power, uncovering corruption and incompetence in the highest places, and chasing celebrities down the street while shouting 'show us yer knickers.' No tradition, however, is greater than that of the local newspaper photograph of people looking grumpy while standing next to the thing the story is about.

Fortunately, there is now a blog devoted to collecting all the finest examples of such pictures together in one place. The 'Angry people in local newspapers' blog is curated by the very fine - indeed, award-winning - British blogger Scaryduck, aka Alistair Coleman, a long-term fan of this particular photographic genre.
Glum Councillors blog
The site above was inspired by the similarly themed - if slightly more niche - Glum Councillors blog. This site is dedicated to pictures of local council members 'looking glum whilst pointing at holes in the road, wearing hard hats or presenting oversized cheques.'

I have just added another 2 posts: Beer Scooter and the transcript of a radio conversation in October 1995, between a US Navy ship off the coast of England, and some British authority...
Also, cute though that photo is I am neither the injured marine (too cowardly to be involved in any real action) nor the gallant rescuer (too busy saving my own skin in a crisis to assist others ).
For future ref this is me:
