l'm sure I read somewhere that there were talks about Sky buying it, but this was a while ago 
Sky would be the best option IMHO and I've heard that there were talks about them doing so if Endemol/CH4 couldn't reach an agreement which benefited all three parties (The two companies and us).

C4 have (deliberately it seems to me) gradually run BB into the ground - and then used the resulting fall in viewers as an excuse to cut back still further.

The last time the contract came up Sky were supposed to be sniffing around along with C5.
I don't have sky. Got rid of them about 5 years ago.
