The scenes in this episode between Danny-Boy Hatchard and Sally Rogers are outstanding and powerful.
Worth watching even if you have never seen Eastenders or gave up on it ages ago. You don't need to know anything about the characters or the storylines. Lee has reached breaking point and the car park attendant (not a regular member of the cast) tries to help him.

I've got back into EE over the last month or so .......after years and years of not watching ......and I have to admit I am finding the Lee storyline well written and quite harrowing 
. I've not watched Fridays yet , but it was obvious from the end of the previous episode what could be on the cards
It was a bit harrowing
EastEnders has a lot of exemplary acting, but Letitia Dean and notable others drag the whole thing down!

I've just seen tonight's epi after a bit of a break. What's happened to 'them two' How did they die?

Not sure, one jumped in in her undies and didn't resurface and then the other went in in her wedding dress. there was some sort of kerfuffle and then all went still.
My guess is they got caught up in the recycling system!

The swimming pool of the hotel where the wedding reception was supposed to be, or the new year festivities......or maybe both?

I gave up EE this Summer partly due to being sick of Ronnie Botox and stale recycled storylines...glad she has gone but I probably wont return....Den and Angie, Ricky and whatsername.....all gone downhill since then

P.S. In the usual scheme of things I don't watch any of the soaps (life's too short!) it's just that the MIL is here just now and she does. As I'm in the same room I sort of see it too!
