This retuning makes me very angry. not the actual doing it, but some areas may be left without Itv3 and itv4, plus border area radio channels could be lost also. Something about if you're in a relay area, whatevva that is? Just bet it's us that loses out. Eeh I'm so angry

I will be glad when tomorrow comes.  The reminder message which keeps coming up on my TV has been driving me mad!!!

I forgot about that. I don't have the foggiest how to do it either. Oh well, can see me being a grumpy old woman tomorrow. It seems to be happening more often lately.

Muf We got the digital switchover so it has to work here, no analogue anymore, and with sky if there's a cloud the picture breaks up. Cable we have no cable.

Seems you have to retune after lunchtime.I'm watching "The Wright Stuff" on ch5 on SKY, but ch5 has disappeared on my tv in the bedroom which is "Freeview".They have turned the signal off without putting the new one up yet.

Oh and Matthew Wright  was displaying the Freeview number on his show! Big help if you only have freeview.

At flippin' last. I'm sick to the back teeth of those messages popping up on screen every two minites!

Done mine it was easy.

Reset my nieces freeview box with the just add channels function,hers done no problem
I lost Ch5 on mine same model,had to go to the webpage and follow instructions there.Had to go back to "Factory settings" cancel channels and re-load them.Most odd.It's fine now.

Oh and "Quest" channel is up and running,natural history etc, I think in the main.

Oh I lost channel 5 in the list on my freeview in my bedroom but I scrolled right to the end of the programmes list and it was there. I noticed a channel called Fiver as well :\

Leccy - can't you buy a cheap generic kind of remote?  I've not done it, but my Dad's telly remote broke once and my bro managed to pick one up on the High St that worked.

All my BBC channels now have maximum signal strength.  CH4 and ITV still a bit crappy though.

i haven't re-tuned, i threw the freeview box out along with the instructions  so i can't get into  settings because it's pin protected  and i never set a pin.
anyways, ch5 seems to have moved to itv3 ,all the rest seems to be the same, so i'll leave it at that.

My Mum has freeview and for the last few months can't get any BBC channels! When they phoned they said BBC wasn't available in her area - but they'd been getting it for the last 2 years!

I've just moved and mine has gone from brilliant signal to utter crap ..am hoping if i re-tune that will restore it to normal..be bloody annoyed if it doesnt !

How odd! I'd be mega peed off at that as it's the BBC who want the licence fee....

I had to re-tune the TVs at my Mum & Dads last night...my Dad was in a panic Said he couldn't get hardly any freeview channels, even after it'd been retuned....I advised him to switch the freeview box on and then have a go!!!!

love it! channel 5's moved to 500 and something and there's a few more dross channels but it seems to have worked.

I haven't got any new channels ... but I don't appear to have lost any.
