What have you re-discovered that you thought had been long discontinued?

Yes, I saw the coconut ice at the seaside Although they used to do it at M&S a couple of years ago ...

My mum used to make something called "tablet" which was on the sugary side to say the least!

I have to say I don't use the tuck shop.

I'm going to try and track them down this weekend!

He bought them from one of those company outlet type shops. But I understand the Co-op also sell them.

food of the gods.... peanuts, held together with brittle toffee.....

My dad's favourite   He always bought a quarter of every Friday night;  I liked the chocolate covered one that Maynard's used to make.  They used to be huge slabs and the shop assistant used to smash it in to manageable pieces with a little silver coloured hammer.

I'm rather partial to Daim bars now and then;  I have no idea what a Freddo Frog is

But then again, I'm not much of a choccy fan (unless it's a Daim or Crunchie urge).  I like Walnut Whips too....my husband, as a joke, was given a pack for his birthday in May.  The ****** still hasn't opened them   It's now down to a battle of wills (or a sneaky replacement pack after I've demolished the original one)

They are at the bargain basement end of the market compared with those that you mention.I sort of recall them as a lunch box filler along the lines of club, taxi, blue riband - albeit chocolate rather than wafer/biscuit.
