I would love Freddie to sing some more up to date music like, say, Keane's Bedshaped. Or maybe Snow Patrol's Run. He has a lovely voice but tends to sing music from his chorister days.

What he sang last night wasn't...
It was an old Frank Sinatra classic

Simon and Garfunkel 'The Sound of Silence'? Seriously, he knows he entered Big Brother and not Britains (not) got talent right?
My friend suggested he bring out a duet with Belinda, Belinda, Belinda!

Imagine the horror if those 2 had been in the house together.
Shibbedy bop!!
I'd like him to sing Goldigger by Kanye West.
I know that one wasn't AKA but I'd like him to tackle some more modern stuff which is just as good.
I would like him to sing Unchained Melody by the Righteous Brothers

The Belinda and Freddie show, an all that Jazz!
do-do-do-bop-wap
It would have been Big "torture" instead of BB!

OMG, don't go there. Earplugs at the ready.
I would actually prefer him not to sing at all!

He should sing an old favourite - 'It's only the hairs on a gooseberry that stop it from being a grape'
I don't want to hear him sing any more either. In fact, I cannot bear his idiotic grinning as well.
Virtual Insanity by Jamiroquai , I think he so looks like Jay Kay .
I actually put the quilt over my face yesterday when he was singing to Angel on the highlights it was too painful to watch!
I am not alone then? I really wish he wouldn't sing its cringy.quote:Originally posted by kazza29:

I would like him to cover 'God save the Queen' by the Sex Pistols! That would be an interesting one, not to mention very funny
We are the champions by Queen... in a spangly, lycra jumpsuit.. doing some mean air guitar... whilst the Brokeback Boyz are chained up in a very small cage opposite him.

That has made me howl with laughter
He mustn't sing.
I like him but his vocal limitations shouldn't be in the public domain. Although...I wouldn't mind it being used as some form of torture on the Numbnut Brothers.

Sexy MF, by Prince

If that made you laugh you must have been able to see it in your mind's eye

Would this song be applicable to Marcus do you think ????
A Rage Against the Machine ditty would suit Freddie well I think
He does sing pretty much in tune which is good.
I was impressed that he knew the verse as well as the chorus of A Foggy Day.

Some great suggestions there! Freddie does have a really good voice but he does tend to sing older songs albeit that they are classics. I would love to hear him sing Run by Snow Patrol/Leona Lewis. Some of the songs composed today are the classics of the future. I am a 60s child and I do love Sinatra (5cds) and The Beatles, but I also love some of the new stuff too .. like Fleet Foxes and Kasabian. Just because they are new songs doesn't mean that they are not good.
Thanks everyone for posting ..

Even though I'm a Freddie fan, I don't like housemates to make a habit of singing.
Although I do love Freddie's singing, I don't like him giving the others an opportunity to mock. (added on after original post)

Maybe something by The Smiths.

no, like someone else said ^^^, its not the X factor. But if Freddie HAS to sing I wish he would update his repertoire and give us some new stuff too.
"Big Balls In Cowtown". That'd have Lisa worried
I laughed because when he was done Angel said "Do you know any Sinatra songs?" Why didnt he tell her it was a Sinatra song.quote:Originally posted by brisket:
