But what I don't understand in the original post's view point is that Freddie must have pre-conceived this whole elaborate plan in which he is mercilessly bullied, is accused of being patronising when all he is doing is expressing his point of view, is accused of not fitting in but he has tried more than anyone to get along and when he does - he is told he is boring and irritating and not liked!!

The mind boggles.

Unfortunately, people who dislike Freddy are not going to be seeing what we are seeing. They are going to see him in a very negative way. Even though I am a Freddy supporter, I can see he has faults but I like him because he is fundamentally a decent bloke. Far more decent than the rest of the HM's and that is why I am puzzled about people slating Freddy when there are far worse in the house
