I'm still feeling rather unwell at the moment.  Could sleep for coughing last night so I was doing my ironing at 4.00 am.  Went back to bed later and managed to sleep for a while.  I wish this flipping cold would go away.

I've got an awful feeling I won't be watching much of the last Big Brother, I've not been able to since last Monday due to friends being round or being out and that. Awful to complain about that really but y'know...it's Big Brother, it's an important part of life!

Joyron, I'm sorry to hear you're still poorly. Is it possible that your symptoms have been caused by the painting that you were doing just before you fell ill or could you be allergic to that new carpet - I don't know which room you were decorating but if it is one which you are in a lot, it could explain it. If it's the paint fumes, keep the windows open - I know when my bedroom was recently decorated the fumes took about a week before they had competely gone.

Its a lovely idea El Loro but its just keeping this thread bumped all the time along with other threads, with Ben's Buddies in mind of course, can be quite difficult.  You have been a hero in resurrecting this thread from nearly reaching page 3 on the last 2 days for instance.

squiggle, I know that keeping this thread going after 23 June would be too much like hard work - the name change was just so that when Figtree comes back (let's say when, not if) if she looks for the thread she would see that we hadn't forgotten her

Afternoon everyone.  Still feeling pretty rough.  Thank you all for your kinds wishes.  It's definitely a summer cold and not a reaction to the painting.  Unfortunately when I get a cold, particularly a summer cold, it always brings me right down and it takes me anything up to a month to get better!!

Putting my penny's worth in, Personally I don't think we should change the name of this thread.  Figtree would be looking for the name she knows and the last messages which I'm sure we will all be writing will leave her in no doubt that we have been thinking about her for a very long time, and especially on her birthday.  That's what I think anyway.

Hope to catch up again later. 

I think El Loro's idea is a lovely, thoughtful one but I agree with Joyron that Figtree will probably look for the original thread title.
I'm happy to go with the majority on this one.

We still can, it's just not automatic. Move your pointer over the Livecloud logo at the top, select Your Control Panel, scroll down the resulting page to the bottom where your signature is stored. Highlight the signature and press Ctrl-C to copy. Then when you come back to your Post Reply box, at the end of your reply, on a new line press Ctrl-V to paste and there you are.

Good morning everyone.   Thank you for saving the thread once again El Loro.  Enjoy your day out.  I'm pleased to report I'm feeling a little better today.  Only woke up once last night.

Rather cloudy here this morning.  I thought we were due sunshine all week.  Have to make an effort to get to the bank and the shops today.  The larder is rather empty!!
