I agree Squiggle, El Loro's suggestion is a lovely one. I'll be here on the 23rd. Hope we can all make it. Anytime suits me as long as it's pre-arranged. Let's see when everyone might be able to get here at the same time.
Good morning everyone.
Great suggestion El Loro to keep things going until the 23rd.

Congratulation to everyone for getting to Page 300 and the for achieving the post that did it goes to Yogi
Well done Yogi, the honour couldn't have gone to a nicer FM
Well done Yogi for getting us to page 300. Now we have to keep the thread going near the head of the list until Wednesday. Anyone got any prefered time to be here together?
What about 12 noon on the 23rd, would that suit most folk?
I'm on a mission here, this thread is gonna stay on page 1 if I have anything to do with it
12 noon on Wednesday, 23rd is fine with me. Let's see what Yogi says; and anyone else who wants to join us of course.
I will do my best to keep bumping the thread too Squiggle, even if I don't have anything much to say at the time!!

You and me Joyron just wittering on, something for which I feel I have a natural talent Gee I'm modest, busy doing nothing working the whole day through trying to find lots of things not to do
Thank you for your good wished on reaching Page 300 - although it was all down to luck.
I have a nurse's appointment at 11.40am on Wenedsay but I can change it and be here at 12 noon.

I ate the first fruits of my labour (in the greenhouse) today - a big, juicy strawberry, it was delicious.

And to put everyone's minds at rest, Busy Doing Nothing is sung by Bing Crosby and others in A Yankee in King Arthur's Court (1949). though people seem to remember this from Snow White and The Seven Dwarfs.Reference:

Holds spoonful of Devon clotted cream and looks at Yogi imploringly Interestingly enough I was over visiting friends yesterday, he is an artist and they are having an open weekend as part of a local Arts Festival and there was a guy there looking at the artwork who is colour blind. He told us (or at least his wife did) that he cannot, for instance, pick strawberries because he is unable to tell the ripe ones from the unripe ones, isn't that fascinating?
How about a swap, Squiggle - some of your gorgeous cream for some juicy strawberries?
The colour blind/ strawberry thing is something which wouldn't have occured to me. I guess it can have quite a big impact on someone's life.

I can "hear" Bing sing it as I post.
Are you sure you will be able to change the appointment Yogi? If you can then let's agree 12 noon on Wednesday.
Between us we WILL keep this thread on page 1 until then. It would be wonderful if Figtree came back to be with us then.

It's no problem to change the appointment, so if everyone is happy with noon on Wednesday, that's fine with me.
