The trouble is that it just goes on too long - 13 weeks - and either I would find it boring or I would get hooked and I just don't want to lose so much time

Morning everyone, thanks Han, I did come here first, heading over to the other thread now, catch up later everyone

I've had my first casualty in the greenhouse - my cucumber plant has keeled over and died. There weren't very many healthy specimens to choose from and it was the best of a bad bunch. Anyway, it's off to the compost heap in the sky now.
On a happier note, the strawberries, tomatoes, peppers, chillies and herbs are doing great.


I notice Joyron hasn't been in today, I hope she isn't still feeling ill.

Sad about the cucumber but good news about the rest of your crop Yogi, another beautiful day here, how 'bout you?  Wonder where Joyron is, hope her cold hasn't laid her low.

Got to go shopping and catch up on the housework I ignored yesterday - because I spent too much time on here.

Morning everyone.  Well I'm just about back in the land of the living, having spent the last 36 hours in bed.  I still feel really bad and the cold has now gone to my chest, which is not good for an asthma sufferer!!

It's amazing how things change on here in such a short space of time.  Squiggle I see your new thread for Ben is going well.  I do like Ben but I'm not sure if he is my "chosen" one yet.

As I've said previously I've not been able to see enough of BB this year to form any strong opinions.  I took an instant dislike to Govan and Shabby and I think (despite his protestations to the contrary) that JJ is desperate to win (typical aussie reaction).  Other than that I just don't know about the others.  I read the comments about the similarties between Sunshine and Bea but quite honestly I don't think Sunshine is as bad as Bea, at least not yet.

As regards this thread, I would be sad to see it go but I realise it's probably not practical to keep two going.  My only comment is that if we let this thread drop then our dear friend El Loro won't be able to fly in and visit to talk about things going on in RL as opposed to BB chatter.  I'll leave it for you to decide.

Will try and get back later but the way I'm feeling at the moment it won't be long before I'm back in bed!  I have a hospital appointment for a special eye test tomorrow afternoon, which I have been waiting for since the beginning of February, and I really don't want to cancel that if I can help it.  My thinking is the more rest I get today the better I will feel tomorrow.

Joyron glad you are feeling a bit better but obviously you need more rest.  El Loro will find us and if we let this thread go then even if you don't join the Ben's Buddies then you can still pop in and catch up with us there.  Catch up later, but more important that you rest today

Don't forget that that is why I set up the Bird Sanctuary over in the Lounge for those who want something whichn't BB orientated. If I'm honest, judging by the quality of posts this morning on Ben's Buddies I woud be the parrot equivalent of a fish out of water
