Good morning Yogi and Squiggle.    I'm embarrassed to say that I have only just got up!!  I've had early mornings, and busy days, with hubby for the past 3 days.  He went off to work really early this morning and I went back to sleep.  I must have needed the extra nap (that's my reasoning anyway).

There would be no point in me paying for LF as our broadband connection is SO slow I'm sure it wouldn't load properly and would keep stopping.  However Yogi if you get LF and keep us informed of all that happens I would be more than happy to contribute to the fee you have to pay.

Here where I live, the maximum speed possible other than cable is 2Mb. By modern standards that is slow, and although I live in a city of 120,000 people it's likely that we will be amongst the last places to get any improvement. I find it annoying when ISPs start trying to flog us faster packages when they should know that we can't take advantage of them. I was talking to someone yesterday who is paying over £15 a month for a 20Mb package where all she does is a small amount of emailing and surfing - certainly doesn't need what she currently has.

Afternoon El Loro.  It's quiet in here today.  I bet come Wenesday night/Thursday this place will be buzzing with new threads and our little haven will get lost!!  I've made this thread one of my favourites so that I can go straight to last reply, just incase we finish up back on Page 3 or 4, or even worse.

Hope all my Freddie friends are having a good day whatever they are doing.

For the benefit of our little club I have just created a thread in the News/Current Events called Link to Freddie Fanclub. By going to that thread and clicking on the link which is the first half of the one sentence posting, you should be automatically taken to the last reply on this thread.
At least, that's what I hope it does - we'll see.
So if anyone wants to avoid trawling through pages of BB threads, this is the quick way. I have put it in the New thread as hardly anybody ever posts there so it is extremely unlikely to get lost.
Obviously, post in this thread, not the Link thread as that's just for our convenience.

Evening all.  I tried the link El Loro and it works for me too.

I'm sure knowing us we will turn out to have similar favourites (at least I hope so).  However I think our little thread is going to get lost in all this so it will be great to have El Loro's link to go to in order to talk and leave messages for each other.

Morning everyone, wow I cannot believe this but there was an email from Freddie in my mailbox this morning, here it is.

Never thought I'd say this, but I'm really excited for this year's Big 
Brother :-) I'm going to host a live-chat on Thursday evening, if you'd 
like to join me and discuss the new characters.  
I'm going to update my video blog with opinions as the series goes along, 
and probably go onto BBLB as well. Generally planning to get really into 
the show this summer, as it's the last one and I've never seen it before!

Good morning everyone on what promises to be another grey wet glorious June day

Today I have my boiler man coming back to power pump clean the central heating system. I have a suspicion that this could be rather noisy and if it gets too bad I'll just get out of the house and come back when it's done.

It's great that some have the LF.  At least they will be able to give us a more honest opinion of what they can see, rather than taking what BB states as gospel.

It's a grey day here too.  Think it's due to rain later so I'm off to the shops before that happens.  Hope all goes well with the central heating system clean up.  Will be back later.

The part for my laptop arrived - but it's still not working. 
If I can't steal borrow hubby's laptop for BB, I probably won't pay for live Feed.

Ten hours and 17 minutes till BB starts, I'm soooo excited.

The water's blacker than black

Never mind El Loro, it will soon be running crystal clear.

It's getting clearer now - it looks like chocolate. But I'm not going to try drinking it

And to celebrate my crystal clear water I've just had a bath in it and you can tell from my appearance that it has had quite an effect

Now you have lovely clear water circulating through your pipes El Loro and heaven knows what the colour is that's circulating through my pipes (sticks head firmly in the sand)

It's the colour that has no name as it is indescribable

I see that there's going to be a talking parrot in BB this year. I wish to make it clear that it's not me and I disassociate myself from anything it says
