Good morning to all my lovely Freddie friends.  Hope this finds you well.  The sun is shining here today, although there is quite a cold wind.

I had a wonderful time with No.2 son.  We went shopping and I spent most of my money on him!! (as it should be).  He went back early this morning and I have a few quiet hours before No.1 son and the grandchildren turn up!!  I need to get to the shops for more supplies to feed the hunrgy troop.

Hope to catch up again this evening when the house is quiet again.

Good morning everyone! El Loro are you sure you aren't winding us up? Gorgeous Italian guy LANFRA?????? No, you will have to give extra clues. What about you Yogi any more clued up than me
Haven't a clue Squiggle, but I'll consult my sports mad son when he finally wakes up.

Good morning everyone. It's a bit showery up here today.
Joyron, please pass on my best wishes to your No.2 son for Monday. I hope he loves his new job.
My middle son has his new girlfriend staying with us this weekend. It's early days for them but she does seem like a really lovely girl.
Hubby is off this weekend, so Ill try to pop in whenever he's napping busy.

Hello again.  While I was walking round Tesco's doing my shopping I had an idea (don't you always) about our Figtree worries.  I'm not sure if it's a good idea or not but I will pass it onto you all and leave that for you to decide.

I wondered if we all sent individual PMs to Lori stating our concerns would she perhaps realise just how worried we are and be persuaded to send an email.

Having said the above another thought has just popped into my head (where are they coming from today)!  If I remember rightly it was Figtree that got inundated with emails from livecloud a while back and it was suggested to her that she change her settings.  If she's done that then an email might not get through anyway; or it it did it might be deleted without even being looked at unless Lori made it a personal email from her rather than livecloud.

What do you all think?  It really is worrying I think.  As someone else said that's the problem with not knowing a forum friend in RL.  When something like this happens there is not a lot we can do about it.
Joyron
Yogi, thank you for your good wishes.  I will certainly pass them onto my No.2 son.  He is really excited about starting this new job.  Long may that feeling last!!

Hope you all have a good time together this weekend.  It's great when a new girlfriend turns out to be someone you really like.  Unfortunately neither my husband nor I ever took to No.1 son's choice and that ended in a really painful divorce!!  I'm sure that won't happen to you and your's.
Joyron

Joyron, you are right it was Figtree who was being swamped with e-mails from GaGa and I think she changed her settings to block them. If everyone wants to send PMs to Lori, then I'll happily do one too.

I know what you mean about not taking to a girlfriend, Joyron. It is hard to watch your adult children making mistakes, but I suppose we do need to allow them to make their own decisions, even when we have serious doubts. I would love things to work out for my son this time, as he's reached that stage where he'd like to find the right person (and this girl is really nice).
Fortunately, when my eldest son brought my (now) DiL home, everyone took to her straight away.
Enjoy your weekend with No1 son and your grandchildren, and speak to you later.

Squiggle, I think I may have discovered El Loro's Italian sportsman, I think it may be Frankie Detorri, whose real name is Lanfranco. I hope I am right.

Ooooh I like Frankie Detorri, I wonder whether El Loro can dismount a horse like that   On the question of Figgers I think we are in trouble, even if Lori was to email her I think it will get caught in the spam filter Hope all goes well Joyron, for your son as well, hope its a lovely visit with No. 1 son and grandchildren.

Evening all.  No.1 son and grandchildren gone so the house is quiet once more!!

On reflection I think I agree that there is no point in asking Lori to email Figtree because any email will probably just get dumped as spam.  We will just have to be patient and wait and see if she returns.  In the meantime I will continue to hold her in my thoughts and prayers and hope that things are not as bad as we fear they could be.

I will be signing out shortly but will catch up with you all again tomorrow.  I'm looking forward to a quiet day.  Hubby is doing a 35 mile sponsored cycle ride for a children's hospice in Suffolk tomorrow.  This is a "trial" run for a 60 mile sponsored ride next Sunday from Colchester Barracks to the Wellington Barracks in London (think I've mentioned this before).  Hubby has raised over ÂĢ400 in sponsorship.  There are 25 people doing the ride so if they all raise around the same amount (which I sincerely hope they will) and the big boss of the whole group matches what they raise pound for pound (as he has promised) they should raise over ÂĢ20,000 for "Help the Heroes".  I hope it all works out well.

Will speak to you all tomorrow.

Good afternoon to all my lovely Freddie friends.    Hope you are all well.

Hubby completed the cycle ride (36 miles) in just over 2 1/2 hours, which was better than he expected.  Only two people out of the group that are riding next week finished ahead of him and they are both a lot younger so he was really pleased.  It all bodes well for next week's ride, which hopefully they will complete in around 6 hours.

Will be back later to catch up with you all.

Morning Yogi, and everyone else of course (would I leave you out?) Looks like it might be a lovely day.  The guy is due any minute to decorate the main bedroom, it will be nice to get it done.  Cream wallpaper with soft faded pink roses, cream paintwork, pale pink ceiling (which comes down the walls a few inches on some walls as this is a chalet bungalow).  I am having a new cream carpet and have got some lovely cream lace curtains.  I am looking forward to getting it finished now.

Good morning Yogi and Squiggle, and all my lovely Freddie friends.    The sun is shining at the moment but the forecasters say we will have rain and thunder this afternoon!!

Hubby is not feeling too bad today.  He's working from home at the moment but has to go into work around lunchtime.  When I said he did 36 miles yesterday it was because he made a wrong turn at one point and finished up riding an extra mile!!  If he had not done that he would have beaten his fellow riders.

I've just finished an enormous pile of ironing so I'm going to stop for a cup of coffee now.

Squiggle your new bedroom decorations sound wonderful.  I'm sure you will be very happy with the results.

Will catch up again later.
Joyron
