Why on earth would anyone want to get you banned? I understand you are standing up for a mate but that is hardly a hanging offence. Me? I just wanted an explanation though. Didn't seem a lot to ask

Don't ask me Zaphod, Suzybean just made the comment, she has now called me a raging hypocrite but I will not seek to make a fuss. Its a forum, comments are made, Joyron's was no different to that.Reference:

Fine... but don't be so surprised when a good few in that thread took exception and wanted to know why. It wasn't as though it was some lightweight thread about some Big Brother trivia but was getting some interesting posts from varying viewpoints.Clearly no amount of requests for an explanation will succeed so I will leave you to it. I came to post here in all politeness and leave in the same way.

Evening Fredsters.
Hi Yogi and all the Freddsters. Hope we can get back to 'business as usual' tomorrow.
I hope so Squiggle.
Squiggle I have sent you a PM. Good luck and goodbye to all my lovely Freddie friends. I will miss you all.
Joyron I have replied, please check your PM's. You are a lovely person, have a good night's sleep now.
Squiggle, I have sent Joyron a PM, I hope I have misunderstood her intentions.
Can I just say I never meant to upset or intimidate Joyron with my posts, I was just trying to understand a simple matter. I left it once myself and squiggle decided to agree to disagree and I hope that Joyron has not decided to leave the forum permanently.

I hope so too
I don't want to betray a confidence but Joyron is very very upset.

Yogi I sent you a PM too suggesting that you PM her, I am so glad you did. She is a lovely lovely person.
And I'm sorry to hear that squiggle. It was never my intention to upset her and I hope it wasn't my posts that did that. And I'm sure I speak for Z in saying that he also never meant to upset anyone, I obviously can't speak for everyone though.
Much appreciated Trixy, I am hoping she will feel a whole lot better tomorrow. But if everyone starts on her again................

I have tried to PM joyron so that she could hear it from me but as we are not "buddies" I don't have the permissions to do so.

Morning Squiggle and you are absolutely correct.
Big hug for Joyron.
Off out to meet my friend for coffee but I'll be back later.
Good morning - yes it takes a man to sort these things . . . ok, sorry i'll shurrup
Its easy to let things get blown out of proportion in here but lets not allow it to sour everything cos we have to face each other eventually. Some times its better to rise above the fray rather than to get dragged into it (thankfully i am a master of doing that - aherm)

I agree Renton and I appreciate your input. A veritable storm in a teacup methinks, hope the sun is shining on you.

It's not very warm down here either, but today I have arranged for my antique boiler to be replaced in 2 weeks time so hopefully it will be warmer by then because I won't be able to have any central heating for 3 to 4 days (it's a big job as they have to do pipework as well). And I won't have any hot water. And as the boiler will be going in the airing cupboard which is in the room I have my computer and broadband connection I will probably be unable to use my computer either. I hioe the new boiler will be worth the inconvenience!

Well El Loro its better to get it replaced now when hopefully it will be warm enough to be comfortable than have it break down in the depths of a winter like we have just had.
Do we need a bump I ask myself? And the answer is yes!
My lovely Squiggle. I've just posted and apology. I hope everyone realises how sincere I am.
Joyron, you are back!
