Good morning everyone.
Hubby is taking the afternoon off so we can go to Costco and stock up on food for the large chest freezer. He likes his food and starts to panic if the food stores start to dwindle.
Got to do some housework but I'll be back in a wee while.

Good morning Yogi and Squiggle.   The sun is shining here at the moment but rain is forecast for later today.

Enjoy your shopping trip Yogi.  I've got that job to do tomorrow.  No.1 son and the grandchildren will be staying this weekend.

Housework is done, just waiting on hubby phoning to say what time he'll be home.

Squiggle, I haven't seen the little bluetits in my garden today. I wonder if they decided the nestbox above the bird table wasn't a good place, after all.

I haven't seen so much activity on the blue tit front either.  Perhaps with the nest built the egg laying and incubating is occurring with not so much toing and froing?

I hadn't thought of that Squiggle, maybe that's what they are up to.

Also Yogi its not so nice here today, very very misty actually so I never see a lot of the small birds when its like this.  Mind you I've not gone out much either

Evening everyone.  It's turned cloudy here now and rain is on the way!!  That's probably why the birds are hiding themselves away.  They know all about bad weather (so I'm told).

Sorry I've not been about much today.  Had another busy day.

Sorry I didn't get back to you this afternoon. We had just arrived home from Costco, when my dad phoned to say my mum had been taken to hospital.
Initially, the doctors thought it was a heart attack but now they aren't so sure. They also think she has some fluid in one of her lungs, which they will be able to treat.
We visited her tonight and she wasn't feeling too bad. She is sure it isn't a problem with her heart but perhaps that is wishful thinking.
Anyway, they have done lots of tests and we should find out more tomorrow.
Not sure if I'll be here tomorrow, but I will try.

Yogi I do hope there is better news today you know us Freddsters will be right there with you in spirit - good morning everyone.

Hospital have said my mum had a good night and the consultant will be in to see her at lunchtime, so we should know a bit more then. I'll keep you updated.

Good afternoon to all my lovely Freddie friends.  Yogi I am sorry to hear that your Mum is unwell and is in hospital.  My thoughts and prayers are with you and, as Squiggle says, we will be with you all the way.  Hopefully by the time you get to read this you will have received good news from the consultant and will know just exactly what is wrong with you poor Mum.

I will be back later to see if you have managed to bring us an update. 

My dad phoned to say mum is being allowed home from hospital later today.
Still waiting on test results but at least it doesn't appear to have been the suspected heart attack.
Squiggle, Ozzy and Joyron, thank you for your good wishes and prayers - your support really means a lot to me.

It's great to hear that your Mum is being allowed home Yogi.  Let's just hope they hurry up with the test results now.

Yogi, how is your Mum this morning?  I hope she is recovering well.  Did you get the test results back?

Good morning everyone.
Mum is feeling much better after a good night's rest in her own bed. The hospital drained the fluid in her lung, so she is much more comfortable but she will have to undergo some more tests to discover why it happened.
Mum thanks you all for your good wishes and prayers, and said your gentle hug was just what she needed Squiggle.
I hope you both have a lovely weekend - it sounds like you are going to have a busy one Joyron, make sure you don't overdo it.

Good result Yogi, glad your Mum enjoyed her hug.  Good thing that they have caught this with the early warning sign of fluid in her lungs.  Could be that possibly her heart needs a little help and having caught it so early they will be able to get her tickety-boo in no time.

Evening everyone.  Company all fed, watered and full up, and now lounging in front of the TV.  Grandchildren just about to go to bed, and I won't be far behind!!  Had a really restless night.  Woken in the early hours with a terrific thunder and lightning storm.  Woken again at 5.00 am with gale force winds and a hailstorm.  Had a very busy day but hopefully it will be easier tomorrow.
