Good morning to all my lovely Freddie friends.  Sorry I didn't have a chance to visit yesterday.  I had a very busy day with the family.

I hope you are all well on this Easter Monday.  It's rather dull here, but no rain so far.  Hubby's gone down to his boat so I have a few hours to catch up on my chores, and visit here of course.

Hope to get back later.  If not then tomorrow we will (thankfully) be back to normal.

Good morning Yogi (and everyone else too of course ) you are up nice and early.  I have to drive a round trip of 3 hours or more today to prove that my car is still the same as it was before I slipped on the ice (I somehow don't think I am cut out to be the cut and shut Granny of the South West do you? )

Squiggle, I hope the trip in the car went okay.  "Cut and Shut Granny of the South West" gave me a real smile, and a great image in my mind!!

Today the sun has decided to come back.  It's a pity it's a couple of days late.

All safely back.  The car went very well, passed the test OK (of course) and even got admired in Exeter by someone saying you don't see many of those nowadays and what lovely condition it is in.  He asked me what am I going to do with it and I said just drive it

Its a no-brainer Yogi, they are only checking to see if anyone has mucked about with the chassis numbers, its nothing to do with the condition of the vehicle, that is decided by the MOT which it sailed through on the 1st of March.

Ah, I see.
I'm off to colour my hair - got it cut this afternoon and there's a lot of white grey showing through.

Good morning to all my lovely Freddie friends.  Hope you are all doing okay today.

I'm off to the shops shortly to stock up after the weekend.  I didn't get any easter eggs but I did get some lovely spring flowers, which are always much appreciated.

Got a call from the doctor's surgery yesterday to say that all my blood results are fine.  I just need to repeat the usual tests in 6 months and have another GTT test in 12 months time to keep an eye on things.
