Yogi thanks for your advice, my grandsons turned up just as I was about to go look at the wiper blades again and although they have never changed the wiper blades we managed to figure it out between us.  It all seems to be working fine now, I did want to try to be independent and not have to run to a garage or a neighbour because I figure I have to try to do as much of this stuff as I can myself, you know check the oil, water, change wiper blades etc.  Thank goodness we have a local manned garage where they kindly check my tyre pressure, I find that quite difficult.

Good morning to all my lovely Freddie friends.  Hope you are all well.

I've had a very industrious morning so far.  The new carpet has been laid in the kitchen and the new blind has gone up in the window.  All looking really good.  Just have to put all the resprayed cupboard doors back but that probably won't be until next weekend.

Hope to come back later but if not I'll catch up with you all again tomorrow.

Good morning all my lovely Freddie friends.  Hope you are well.

Sorry I didn't get back last night.  Yogi, you did a sterling job keeping the thread where it should be.  It's wet and nasty here today.  I did hear there would be some snow up where you are Yogi.  I think it will be short lived though.

I have supported Hayley in DOI from day one and I'm really pleased she won.  I would not really have minded who won, except I didn't want it to be Danielle!!

Will hopefully catch up with you all again later.

Good morning Joyron.
I was supporting Kieron, who I felt made the most progress throughout the series, and he seemed like a lovely lad. Hayley was the best skater though and deserved to win.
I am keeping everything crossed that any snow is of the wet variety, which does not settle. I feel I have already seen enough snow for this year.
Will be back later.

Good morning everyone.   Sorry to hear about the snow Yogi.  We have had loads of rain but, thankfully, it's not cold enough for snow.

I've just been out in the pouring rain for two hours!!  Had my six month fasting blood tests this morning and had to hang about from 8.30 am until 10.30 am for the second lot of blood to be taken for the GTT test.  I'm glad that's out of the way.  Now I just have to await the results!!

Hope to catch up again later.

Afternoon Yogi.  Wasn't too worried about not having anything to eat.  It was my morning cuppa (and the one in the night if I wake up) which I really missed.  I'm sorted now and at least I don't have to go through this lot again for another six months!!

Hope you are coping okay with the snow.  Trust you have the heating on full and are keeping yourself topped up with all the goodies you baked!!
Joyron
