It's been great talking "live" Yogi.  Unfortunately I will have to sign off now and put my mind to hubby's tea.  Hoepfully we can have another "moment" at some time in the future.

Glad all worked out with the car.  As Squiggle said it's normally the day after the warranty runs out that you get the problem.  So glad you bucked the trend.  I DO love all my Freddie friends.

Yogi,  I have no problems talking about Paul.  He is doing really, really well.  He's lost nearly 11 stone now.  His clothes keep falling off of him!!  He will probably need an operation in October 2011 to remove to extra (how can I say it politely) bits he does not need now.  I am SO proud of him.  He is a different person now.

Good morning Squiggle and Yogi.  I agree about the picture being a real cheer up on such a horrible wet, dull day.

Hope you are both okay this morning.  I really enjoyed our live chat last night.  Managed to get hubby's dinner on the table on time too!!

Squiggle, Paul has a belt which he's worn since the start of his journey.  He keeps making a new hole in it each time he loses more weight.  The belt nearly goes round him twice now!!  I keep telling him I will buy him a new one but I think he wants to keep it for now as a sign of what he has achieved.

Hope to catch up with you both again later.

Good afternoon Squiggle and Yogi.  Hope you are well.  I think your idea about staying inside in the warm is a very good one Squiggle.  It started off sunny here this morning but it's very cold.

Yogi, I hope all has gone well with the MOT retest on the car.  Nothing worse than being without your own transport.  I wonder what Figtree has been up to.  Perhaps her computer has borken again!!

Hope to catch up again later.
Joyron
Hello Joyron, I am pleased to announce my car has passed the MOT. The garage didn't even charge us for the retest because we are "regulars". I suppose we are regulars, we've been using them for nearly 20 years.
I was given some summer bulbs which are due for planting, so I will be heading to the garden centre tomorrow to get some tubs and compost. Fingers crossed the rain goes off.
Maybe catch up with you later.

Staying inside with the central heating on is exactly what I plan to do this afternoon, Squiggle.

Good morning Fredsters, hope you are all well.
I wish Figtree would visit us, just to let us know if everything is okay. Justa hasn't been here for a few days, either.
I'm off to the garden centre later today, got to get those summer bulbs planted this weekend.
Thought I'd mention, I've sent you all buddy requests - 'cos you are my buddies.
Leavingfor Squiggle and Joyron. I'll be back later.

Hi everyone, I am attempting to change windscreen wiper blades for the first time in my life.  I had a quick shufti at them but I can't see how to get them off and I am frightened of breaking them!! I have the new ones, the man who used to own the car left 2 spare sets in the boot, bless him.  If anyone is an old hand at it I could do with a tip.

No one missed me then!
Jojo fantastic news!
Now I need to know  how to block all the emails I keep getting from LC.... at the last count it was well over 100,000Ihadn't looked at them for months ! it has taken hours and hours to get rid of them!I logged out in desperation hoping that it would stop them coming but it didn't! Missed you all even if you didn't miss me!

Figtree, we have missed you, check out my posts up there^^^^^ Glad to have you back with us.

Squiggle, son has shown me how to remove the blade on my window wiper. In the middle of the rubber part, there is a clip (on mine) and the blade just pulls out. Hubby says that your car may be different, so he is asking if you have a friendly garage nearby, or even a friendly neighbour who could do it for you?
