I'm still here!! I've put the oven on. Eveything is prepared. I JUST have to get the timings right!!! His meal will be on the table when he gets home.
Oooh Squiggle, how lovely.
I warn you, I rarely drink, so I might get a bit giggly.

Joyron, you sound like you've got everything under control.
Its been lovely to be on here with you two but I have to log off for a wee while now, speak to you both soon
I cannot believe we are talking like this. It's how it should always be. I'll stay as long as I can and pop off to put bits in the oven when I must (like now)
See you later Squiggle, it's been lovely to chat properly with you.
You are right Joyron, this is the way it should be.

It's been great talking "live" Yogi. Unfortunately I will have to sign off now and put my mind to hubby's tea. Hoepfully we can have another "moment" at some time in the future.
Glad all worked out with the car. As Squiggle said it's normally the day after the warranty runs out that you get the problem. So glad you bucked the trend. I DO love all my Freddie friends.

Joyron (don't answer if you'd rather not) I was wondering how Paul is getting on? I hope things have continued to get better for him.
Reference:

The feeling is mutual. Take care and I hope to see you tomorrow.
Yogi, I have no problems talking about Paul. He is doing really, really well. He's lost nearly 11 stone now. His clothes keep falling off of him!! He will probably need an operation in October 2011 to remove to extra (how can I say it politely) bits he does not need now. I am SO proud of him. He is a different person now.
You have every right to be proud of him, he has done so well and has completely turned things around. I am so happy for him and for you.
I have loved having this conversation with you Yogi but I really MUST sign out now and cook hubby's tea or it won't be ready when he gets home. Where is your hubby tonight (if it's not impolite to ask).
Hopefully we will be able to have another conversation tomorrow.

He's upstairs watching TV - he was day off today. He is taking the term "rest day" literally.
I've loved chatting to you too, but hurry off and feed that hubby of yours now.

Joyron I have to say that is so wonderful it brings tears to my eyes, 11st!! Way to go, wish I could hug him myself
Good morning Squiggle That smiling sunshine is a real tonic on this cold and rainy day.
Good morning Squiggle and Yogi. I agree about the picture being a real cheer up on such a horrible wet, dull day.
Hope you are both okay this morning. I really enjoyed our live chat last night. Managed to get hubby's dinner on the table on time too!!
Squiggle, Paul has a belt which he's worn since the start of his journey. He keeps making a new hole in it each time he loses more weight. The belt nearly goes round him twice now!! I keep telling him I will buy him a new one but I think he wants to keep it for now as a sign of what he has achieved.
Hope to catch up with you both again later.

Morning Joyron
I can understand why Paul chooses to keep the belt. It will act as a positive reminder of how far he has come, and how much he has achieved.

Evening everyone. No one about today? You must all be busy people.
Probably won't be back later but will catch up with you all again tomorrow.

Hello everyone, sorry I haven't been around very much today.
I finally got my car back this afternoon and everything seems to be working properly now. It should pass the retest for the MOT tomorrow - I hope.
I noticed Figtree hasn't been around for a couple of days, hope everything is okay.
Hope to catch up later.

Good morning everyone. Hope you are all well on this rainy morning.
Good morning Yogi, early bird!
Hi Squiggle, I was up with the larks this morning - I'll probably pay for it later on.
Hope I catch up with you later and you can tell me how your day has gone, its raining outside, my central heating is on and I will do my best to stay cosily indoors all day - have a good one my friend
Good afternoon Squiggle and Yogi. Hope you are well. I think your idea about staying inside in the warm is a very good one Squiggle. It started off sunny here this morning but it's very cold.
Yogi, I hope all has gone well with the MOT retest on the car. Nothing worse than being without your own transport. I wonder what Figtree has been up to. Perhaps her computer has borken again!!
Hope to catch up again later.

Hello Joyron, I am pleased to announce my car has passed the MOT. The garage didn't even charge us for the retest because we are "regulars". I suppose we are regulars, we've been using them for nearly 20 years.
I was given some summer bulbs which are due for planting, so I will be heading to the garden centre tomorrow to get some tubs and compost. Fingers crossed the rain goes off.
Maybe catch up with you later.
Staying inside with the central heating on is exactly what I plan to do this afternoon, Squiggle.

Afternoon Yogi. Glad to hear all went well with the car. Have fun with the planting.
I probably won't be back again today as hubby has rung to say he's on his way home!!
Will try and catch up with you all sometime over the weekend.

Have a good weekend Joyron, see you later.
Goodnight Squiggle, see you tomorrow.
Good morning Fredsters, hope you are all well.
I wish Figtree would visit us, just to let us know if everything is okay. Justa hasn't been here for a few days, either.
I'm off to the garden centre later today, got to get those summer bulbs planted this weekend.
Thought I'd mention, I've sent you all buddy requests - 'cos you are my buddies.
Leavingfor Squiggle and Joyron. I'll be back later.

Afternoon Squiggle and Yogi. Just a quick visit to say hello and give the thread a little bump.
Hope you get on okay at the garden centre Yogi. I'll have to delve into my site and see if your buddie request is there!!
Will try and come back later.

Joyron I nissed you! I went to the garden centre, got the planters and compost, so I can plant the bulbs this afternoon.
Hi everyone, I am attempting to change windscreen wiper blades for the first time in my life. I had a quick shufti at them but I can't see how to get them off and I am frightened of breaking them!! I have the new ones, the man who used to own the car left 2 spare sets in the boot, bless him. If anyone is an old hand at it I could do with a tip.
Squiggle, I'll ask my son when he gets in (about 20 minutes time) as he has changed mine a couple of times.
No one missed me then!
Jojo fantastic news!
Now I need to know how to block all the emails I keep getting from LC.... at the last count it was well over 100,000Ihadn't looked at them for months ! it has taken hours and hours to get rid of them!I logged out in desperation hoping that it would stop them coming but it didn't! Missed you all even if you didn't miss me!

Figtree, we have missed you, check out my posts up there^^^^^ Glad to have you back with us.
Squiggle, son has shown me how to remove the blade on my window wiper. In the middle of the rubber part, there is a clip (on mine) and the blade just pulls out. Hubby says that your car may be different, so he is asking if you have a friendly garage nearby, or even a friendly neighbour who could do it for you?

Figtree, I can't remember how I stopped the emails, let me go check my site and see if I figure it out. Back in a moment.
Figtree, if you click on the black "Livecloud" sign at the top left hand side of the page, a drop down menu will appear. Click on "manage your stuff", then click on "notifications". Scroll down the page a little bit and you can decide which emails you want to recieve or even suspend all.
