Evening everyone.    I see no one has been in here since Yogi this morning.  Hope you have all had a good day.  I enjoyed my visit to the shops in the sunshine.  It's a pity the forecasters say it's going to change.

Probably won't be back tonight but I will catch up with you all again tomorrow. 

Just had to come back and say I love it when my post starts a new page.  I wonder how many we will get to before the thread is too big to continue with!!!

Sorry I didn't get back this afternoon. Eldest son was fixing our new TV to the bedroom wall for us. He's quite handy - unlike his dad.

Hi all, did you miss me?  My ISP changed its supplier and I had to reset my router and the blooming thing kept crashing halfway through the save.  So I have had to wait for my IT guy to come this morning and he put in a network card which seems to have cured the problem.  Nice to be back, hope you are all well.

I've been out grocery shopping for middle and youngest son. Hubby is taking me away for the weekend (birthday treat), so I had to make sure there were plenty of food supplies in for my sons.
My little car is in the garage, undergoing it's first MOT. I've got everything crossed that it passes, but I'm not confident.

Hello Yogi.  Is this weekend the "big" birthday you were talking about?

I'm looking forward to my trip away for our 40th wedding anniversary, but that's not until October (although I'm still counting the weeks down).

Yes Joyron, it's my big 50 tomorrow. Where do all the years go? We are going up near to Aviemore - beautiful scenery, fresh air and a bit of spoiling - I am looking forward to it.

40 years of marriage deserves to be celebrated in style. You'll be crossing the days off on your calendar - quite right, too.

Yogi,  I hope you have a really happy day tomorrow and a lovely weekend away.  I will be thinking about you and look forward to hearing all about it when you get back.

I love the part of Scotland you are going to stay in.  I assume there will be some snow left, bearing in mind all the snow you have had to contend with.

    Not sure what you would like so these gifts are anything you might want them to be.

Good morning Squiggle.  What a lovely picture.  It's a beautiful spring day here in Essex today.  The sun is shining, it's really warm and quite a few of my daffodils have come fully into bloom this morning.  It really makes me feel good.

I hope Yogi is enjoying her time away.  I'm not sure but I don't think the weather is all that good up in Scotland at the moment.

Hello everyone, I have returned.
Thank you Joyron, Squiggle, Figtree and Justa for my birthday wishes and pressies. You are all absolute sweethearts.
We had a wonderful weekend and the weather was not too bad. The sun was shining most of the time, with only one little shower of rain.
We were staying at a Hilton Hotel, so the food was gorgeous and the staff were really friendly and helpful.
When we went for a walk around Aviemore, there were wild rabbits playing in people's gardens. I thought they looked really cute but hubby didn't think the homeowners would feel the same way.
I feel like my batteries have been recharged and I'm full of the joys of spring now.

Justa, I hope the party went really well and your mum and sister had a wonderful time. Did you manage to relax and exjoy the evening, too?

Afternoon everyone.   Nice to see you back Yogi.  Glad you had such a good time.  We have loads of those wild bunnies running around in our garden and my husband certainly doesn't like them!!  We had to give up growing veggies unless they were in pots as the pesky bunnies ate everything as soon as it appeared out of the ground.

Figtree, I see you have the "spring" feeling just like me.  This is certainly my favourite time of year.

I hope Justa's party went well last night.  No doubt she will be on here sometime this evening to tell how it went.

May not be back again today but I will catch up with you all again tomorrow.

hello everyone, thank you all for the good wishes and pressies  it all went fine, i tell you something though that cooking thing is a right malarkey it took us 5 hours to cook all the food, we need 2 ovens i think in future lol. Mum and sis got so many lovely gifts i think mum was embarressed a little by it all, sis loved the attention  even my little nan didnt stop smiling, and she stayed till 11 o'clock bless her. the dj was great and played a great range of music that we picked. Today me and mum have been looking at pics and just relaxing having a chilled out day, its been a good couple of days
