Good morning to all my lovely Freddie friends.  I hope this finds you well on this miserable foggy morning (at least it is where I am).

Justafriend it's nice to see you back.  I too have been sorting out loads of stuff to send to the charity shop.  We are hoping to move into a smaller property this year and I've got 19 years worth of stuff to sort out!!

Squiggle, thanks for the suggestion re glucosamine.  My doctor did recommend that when I had the really bad episode back in October.  I have been taking 1500mg a day since then but unfortunately it does not appear to be doing much for me.  That said I suppose I might have had more episodes without it so perhaps it is doing something, but I don't seem to be getting any dramatic results.  I suppose getting older it's just something I have to live with.  I'm pleased to say the pain seems to be less today so perhaps this episode is coming to an end (thankfully).

Hope to catch up again later.  Whereever you are Figtree I hope all is well with you too.

Morning Yogi, how's you? I've got a ton of work (some I should have done yesterday ) and I've just washed my hair and I've got to put the rubbish out and its raining. Sob! I have decided I was wrong, Spring is NOT nearly here, this winter is going on and on and on........ Ooer I think I need cheering up

Joyron I'm glad you have discovered glucosamine. I take 2000mg per day.  As you say some days are worse than others, keep experimenting with different things.  I do find that Ibuprofen gel or Movelat cream rubbed into the knee helps when its really painful.  And yes my hubby used to swear by Arnica rubbed into his neck, so try everything

I thought you would all like to know that my chores are all finished.  You know some days when you know the jobs have to be done but you just don't feel like doing anything?  Well nice to get them out of the way.  How is everyone else doing on this day, the weather forecast said we might get some snow but so far its just grey and drizzly.

Afternoon Squiggle.  Glad to hear you've got all your chores done.  I'm afraid I've been very lazy this week.  I'll try and start again on the sorting out next week!!

It's been raining here all day long but I won't complain because it would be so much worse if it was snow, as was forecast.

Hope to catch up again later.  Have a nice cup of tea and put your feet up now.  You deserve it after all that hard work.

Afternoon everyone.  Hope you are all well today.

Yogi I have the same problem when my husband is at home.  He does not approve of these forums or internet chatting.  He thinks they are a waste time!!  Therefore I'm not normally able to have a chat when he is about, particularly at weekends.

What he doesn't realise is that having friends to chat to, particularly when things are a bit grim or we need a friendly word, is such a lifeline (at least that's how I feel).

Hope to speak again later

I totally agree Joyron. The conversation and humour on here is great, and the support given when an FM is upset or worried, is heartwarming.
