Hi Yogi yes baking all finished thank you, Joyron, hope all goes well tomorrow, Figgers that is so deep, hope you get out OK.  I am nervous about icy pavements so will have to check conditions in the morning, although we are getting off lightly here (North Devon) so far, I am booked into the hairdressers but will have to cancel if I feel its too icy, its not worth a broken leg is it?

Morning all my lovely Freddie friends.   Thanks for thinking of me.  Doctor's appointment went okay.  BP is down, but not enough.  The strength of the pills has been doubled and I have to go back in another 4 weeks to see if any progress is being made.

I hope you are all doing okay and keeping in the warm.  We have not had anymore snow but there is still so much lying on the ground as it is so cold.

I tried getting on here last night to say goodnight but there appeared to be a fault and it wouldn't let me post.  Hopefully it's okay today.

Will catch up again later.

Afternoon everyone.  Squiggle, I hope your delivery arrives okay.  I'm still waiting for several things; two of which should have come today.  I don't hold out much hope for today but there are still two days left, so I live in hope.

Hope everyone else is okay and managing in this nasty weather.  Roll on the Spring (my absolute favourite time of year).

Hope to catch up this evening, if not will speak again tomorrow.  Love you all.

Hello Fredsters My village is high up and we usually get a lot of snow. We've had so much today that I couldn't go to the hairdressers. There are no buses coming into my village and there are problems with the trains.
My middle son managed to get a bus to the nearest town and then had to walk three miles in the snow to get home from work.My DiL may have to stay overnight at her work, as her only routes home have been closed by the police, my youngest son is on a train going into Glasgow at the moment and we have our fingers crossed he gets there soon.
Why is it that a bit of snow can bring this country to a virtual standstill?

I`ve just read this post back and I sound like a right Moaning Minnie Sorry everyone.
