My friend sed , make a donation to charity and present her with the certificate!!
My mum is a nightmare to buy for too, Renton. One year she suggested my dad buy a goat in her name (for one of the charities), my dad was like "I'm not buying you a goat for Christmas!". Anyway, he did get her a nice present and the charity got a donation, too.

Afternoon to all my lovely Freddie friends.   I hope you are all doing okay today.  We didn't get anymore snow overnight but none of what we have had has melted yet.

The pictures are getting better and better.  It makes me feel very festive.  Will catch up again later (hopefully).  At least this weekend will be a little quieter, thank goodness.

Morning Yogi and Figtree.  Hope you are both okay, and not too cold.  We have not had anymore snow since Thursday night/Friday morning but because it is so cold there seems to be no chance of what we've got melting any time soon.

Mind you, did you here on the news that they have had 16 inches of snow in parts of the USA.  My penfriend lives near Boston so I'm sure she will have some tales to tell when I hear from her today!!

Hope to catch up with you all again later.

Came in to say night, night before signing out.  Had an email from my penfirend in Colchester, Connecticut.  They have "officially" had 17 inches of snow overnight.  We think we get a lot of snow at times but I cannot remember ever seeing that much snow for once snowfall.

Will catch up with you all again tomorrow.  Keep warm and sleep tight.

Hi Fredsters, I decided to brave the snow after all and went to do some Christmas shopping with my youngest son. We did quite well, although I still have a couple of things to pick up.

Joyron, I hope you get on okay at the doctor's tomorrow and (just in case we aren't here at the same time) I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a peaceful and happy New Year.

Figtree, I got you some skis 'cos it sounds like you might need them.

Squiggle, did you get your baking done?

Justa, Darlo and Mary
Twee, if you are lurking, you are missed.
