Evening everyone.  I hope you are all okay.

Yogi, my husband has been "on the water" for the last four years, so I suppose you could say he has some experience.  He loves his boat and has planned for a long while to get one a little bigger than the one he had previously.  I'm sure this new boat will deflect a little from what he has had to do today; sad though that sounds.

Will catch up again tomorrow.   XXX

Struggling today, but tomorrow is another day I suppose, see how it goes.
Squiggle, I know it must be really difficult for you. I know what it is like to lose someone you love (in my case, it was my brother) and I wish I could say something to make you feel better, but I hope it helps to know there are people here who care about you.

Thanks Yogi, I have lost people I love before, my brother when he was only 24, my Dad, and I literally didn't eat a thing for a week, but on bad days this is truly truly awful, agony is the only word I can think of that fits, it is literally like being torn in two.  The price we pay for love!!

Squiggle, would you consider something like Bereavement Counselling? I know it is not for everyone, but some people find it easier to open up to someone who isn't personally involved. If things are really becoming unbearable, The Samaratins are incredibly helpful, too.
Whatever you do, remember there are FMs on here who will listen to you if you want to talk.

Yogi, thanks for your advice.  Bereavement counselling is something I have thought about.  A lot of days I feel I can cope but this weekend has been difficult I think due to a lot of issues, don't want to moan but I have neuralgia, a really painful knee, a broken tooth and now stomach pains (there is a bug going around for the last-mentioned).  So I suppose its no wonder that I have felt my loss pretty keenly.  Thanks for your concern, I am taking each day as it comes.

Hello everyone.  Sorry I haven't been into the thread today.  I've had quite a busy day with my husband and number one son.

Squiggle you are, as always, in my thoughts and prayers.  I REALLY  feel for you and wish there was something I could do to ease your pain, but unfortunately I fear this is a period you have to go through to come out the other side.  I hope you understand what I mean.

Yogi, I hope Mr Yogi is feeling better today (sorry I got it all muddled up yesterday with Mr Figtree - it must be my age).

Will try and catch up later tonight, if not i'LL SPEAK AGAIN TOMORROW.

Good morning Yogi, Justafriend, Figtree and Squiggle.

Yogi, I'm glad to hear that Victor is gradually beginning to appear.  Hopefully you husband will be fully fit before Christmas.  My son is doing really well.  He's lost over 5 stone now.  I've told him to go and get a couple of new tops to wear over Christmas to show off his new figure.  He doesn't want to buy too much as he still has a long way to go, but you can see a real difference in him now.  He has an appointment with his consultant this coming Friday to check up on his progress.

Justafriend, sorry to hear about your computer problems.  Perhaps Santa will bring you a new one!!  I too miss Twee surgeon.  Hopefully she will be back soon.

Figtree, I hope all is well with you and your's.

Squiggle, I hope you are feeling a little better today.  I know things must be really hard for you at the moment.

To you, and all my lovely Freddie friends I send my love.  Will catch up again later.

Hello again.  Squiggle my son is feeling really great in himself.  His whole personality seems to have changed.  He is SO much more positive about things.  I think he's getting some self esteem back after all the knocks he's had this year (messy divorce)!

Figtree thank you for the hugs and the pressie.  I'll pass them onto Paul when next comes round.

Hope to catch up again later.

Hello lovely Fredsters
Squiggle, I am so glad you are feeling a little bit better today.
Joyron, thanks again for your good wishes for hubby. Your son had done so well losing all that weight and I hope that his self-esteem has been given a boost. Tell him to keep up the good work.
Justa, hang on to your sister's lappy, we need you here.
Figtree, I keep missing you here, sending you a big
for Darlo, Mary and our much-missed Twee.

Hi Joyron, I've just got back from the dentist, she managed to fill it (my poor tooth broke in half, all front, no back) and its been hissing down all day, thick fog over the high ground coming back but I'm back again now and just about to settle down to a nice big bowl of warming comforting pea and ham soup.  Glad to hear the sun was shining somewhere, even if not here
squiggle
Hi Squiggle.  Sorry to hear about your trip to the dentist.  I remember one Christmas Eve when I managed to get an emergency appointment with really bad toothache and had to have a tooth taken out!!  Didn't like having it done but it did save Christmas for me that year.  Glad you managed to get it sorted.

On another note, the sun stayed out for most of the day, thankfully.  Not sure what the coming days will bring.

If I don't catch up with everyone else this evening then I hope you have all had a good day.  Will speak to you all again tomorrow.  I send my love to anyone and everyone that needs it.     Sorry if that sounds a bit "sloppy" but I've just been watching Noel's Christmas Presents update and it always makes me cry!!
Joyron
Morning everyone. Just thought I'd give the thread a little bump as it was in danager of going off the page!!

Squiggle,  I hope you tooth is feeling a little better this morning.  Figtree, I hope you've got that electrician coming in.  Smoking wall plugs is not good.

Yogi, how is your husband getting on now?  I hope he's feeling an awful lot better.  Love to all my lovely Freddie friends.
