Aww, sorry hun, I don't know what else to suggest.
I am missing Twee as well. I hope everything is okay and maybe she's just too busy to post at the moment.

I'm missing her too.  I do hope everything is okay.  Does anyone have contact with her via any other method??

Unfortunately not.

I took hubby to our GP today. His test results were back from the hospital and apparently he has a severe renal infection and needed different antibiotics. He still hasn't eaten anything (except a slice of toast) since Saturday, so he is really tired and lacks any energy. I'm still taking good care of him, in fact, he says I should be skinny with all the running up and down stairs - I'm not!

Yogi.  You really must look after yourself too.  I know it's hard when someone we love is unwell but if you don't take care of yourself you will be poorly too, and that won't benefit anyone.

I hope the new antibiotics work quickly.  Meanwhile I send you my love and my prayers.     (must keep using the smilies now I've got them back).

Morning Squiggs morning Jojo Lots of hugs!Morning Fredsters!

Aww poor Mr Yoyo, Lots of hugs!I am glad he has his own special nurse Yoyo in attendance! Take care of yourself too Yoyo my very best wishes to you both!

Umph! I cannot see the smilies that you lot are posting, just empty boxes! I'm a failure!

Morning Figtree.  Hope you are well.

After Yogi's note yesterday with regard to the smilies this is exactly what I did, and got the smilies back.

Double click eye to get up box.  Press settings/press sites.  Where is says address of website type in livecloud.com then press allow, then ok.  It worked for me so give it a try.

Hello FredstersHope everyone is well today.
Mr Yogi is much better today. He managed to eat some beans on toast and is now sitting up in bed, watching some TV. When he gets grumpy (Victor Meldrew style) I'll know he's back to normal.  Many thanks to everyone for their good wishes.

Yogi I am SO glad to hear that your husband is feeling much better.  I know what you mean about Victor Meldrew!!

It doesn't seem as though many people get in here now.  I noticed both Mary and Darlo posting in other threads but I've not seen them in here.  Perhaps us "old" girls are driving them away!!!  I sincerely hope not.

Darlo isn't on the forum very much at the moment, Joyron. I remember Darlo saying he had gone part-time on us. He said life is good but he doesn't have as much time to come on and chat. Maybe romance is in the air. (Only kidding Darlo)
I agree with Squiggle, we are all young at heart and I'm sure Mary and Darlo will be back.

I'm so pleased you have managed to get some of your smilies back Figtree.  It makes the thread so much more colourful doesn't it?

I've just finished wrapping all my Christmas presents so I'm feeling really smug.  I enjoy the lead up to the Christmas holidays once the cards and presents are done!!

Hello Fredsters
Justa, hope your computer gets fixed soon. I bet your mum is happy that Jimmy is in the final three of IACGMOOH.
Joyron, hubby is much better today. He has had a little grump but is not yet in full Victor mode. Thank you for all your good wishes.
Figtree, it's good to see you haven't gone OTT now you've got your smilies back.
Squiggle I love the pic of the puppy. it is sooooo cute.
Leaving for Darlo and Mary, in case they pop in.
Twee, if you are lurking, hope you are well and come back soon, we miss you.

Hello everyone.  Yogi, I pleased to hear that your husband is feeling a lot better today.  Cannot wait for Victor Meldrew to arrive!!!

My poor husband has had a very mixed day.  On the nice side he's just bought himself a new boat (a 60th birthday present to himself).  On the down side he's had to make quite a few people redundant today.  There were lots of tears and, unfortunately, there was nothing he could do about it.  Times are hard at the moment for us all. That sounds a bit trite having just said he's invested in a new boat but he has worked really hard to make this possible.

Twee Surgeon.  I really hope all is well with you and that you can pop in sometime.  We all miss you.

Hope to speak later, if not I'll speak to you all over the weekend.

Aww Justa, thats a pain.Hope it gets fixed soon!
Hi Fredsters, hope you have a good evening!
 For her Tweeness
Happy birthday Mr Jojo!

Hi Darlo Nice to see you in here.

Joyron, what a horrible day for your poor husband. It must have been awful for him, having to make staff redundant especially at this time of year. Sometimes we are forced by circumstances to make difficult decisions, and I'm sure your husband tried his best to avoid the redundancies.
On a happier note, I hope he enjoys his boat. Is he a keen sailor, or is this a new hobby?

why do you dread Christmas, hun? Don't answer if it is too personal
I think it's because when I was a kid I loved it but as the last couple of years have gone on i've grown out of it and found it boring.

It is a time for kids, isn't it. Now my three are grown up, I do miss the magic of Christmas that children bring.
