Evening TS, ha ha he really liked that song was funny when he sang it in the house though.

DB, Freddie was in the choir at public school and Summertime is one of those songs that they sing to practise their vocal range.  I bluddy hate it and I hated Freddie singing it in the house too.  Do you remember the song he composed for Bea?  haha.  I would love to hear Freddie singing some more modern stuff as he does have a beautiful voice given the right song.  But, please, not Summertime ...

Hi figgers, loads of my friends are down with possible swine flu.  Its hard to know because they diagnose you over the phone.  No-ones keen to take Tamiflu though.  My new car is being brought over tomorrow.  Evidently the guy who had it was an engineer and maintained it himself until he could no longer do it and then stood over the mechanics.  Bless him.  He's only done 4 miles in it this year, to get it MOT'd and serviced.  I'm going to write to him to say how much it will mean to me, I really feel for him though having to give up driving.  It aint a Morgan but it will be very precious to me if it keeps me mobile.

Hi Squiggs hope your friends are better soon! Ireally cannot think how a diagnosis can be done over the phone though imo!
So glad about the car squiggs,it will help you to be a little bit more independant and therefor a little more dignity!shame about the previous owner but at least the car is going to someone who really will appreciate it! Keep your chin up sweetypops you are in our thoughts!

Evening everyone.  I maybe foolish but I'm not worried about this swine flu scare.  I'm in a "high" risk category but I won't have the jab if it's offered to me.

Hi there Jo' I am with you on this we are constantly living in a fearful state because of this that and the other but I am not convinced that the never ending vaccines are the answer; infact I believe that this constant bombardment of vaccines could do a lot of untold damage to our own imune systems so would I have the jab ? No! One thing that bothers me is that swine flue is supposed to be  a new virus strain the Tamiflu pills were already in store from the 'Bird flue' but given out for the swine flue! also it is supposed to take yrs to research and test new vaccines yet they have done this in a very short time! I am really not convinced !

That's such wonderful news.  He has got such a lot to look forward to, and you will have the pleasure of seeing him adjusting to his new slimmer fitter self, getting new clothes and feeling good about himself.
