Hello everyone. Not been about for a while. My son is staying after his operation. He is doing okay, I'm pleased to say. Probably won't be about much until Paul goes home to rest early next week.

Afternoon Figtree, Squiggle, Justafriend, and all our other lovely Freddie friends.
Figtree, my son is taking himself back home tomorrow although I have told him he come back anytime if he thinks it best. He seems to be getting on really well, in fact much better than I would have expected bearing in mind it's only a week ago tomorrow since he underwent the surgery.
There's just one more hurdle on the horizon. My husband is off for a colonoscopy in the morning. His father died of bowel cancer many years ago and this is the second time he's had this procedure, just to keep an eye on things so to speak. It was quite funny this lunch time as both he and Paul are on a liquid only diet today so I've been chomping on a lovely sandwich they've both had watery soup!!!
Hopefully I will get my routine back on track soon and I will be in this thread a little more often than I have been recently. XXX

I'm signing out for tonight. My hubbie is off to bed. He's grumpy because he cannot have anything "solid" to eat. I'm sure it's all in the mind, but there you are. I bet he will be craving something filling tomorrow night, once he gets over the anaesthetic!!!

Although I'm not concerned about the colonoscopy, and am sure the results will be clear, you always have that nagging little thought in the back of your mind - what if they find something this time? I'm sure I am worrying about nothing but I won't be happy until hubby comes back with the results.
