The answer is definitely yes Renton, I was fortunate to have had such a great man to love and to love me, we were granted nearly 50 years, I just wish it hadn't whizzed by so quickly, but one day I will be with him again.

Freddie is grinning latest video he's back in the UK, that is really good news about receiving a letter from the Conservative party about representing them as a candidate hope it all goes well. So he's been busy and catched up with Siavash and hopes to catch up with Marcus, he also catched up with Beinazir.

So sorry to hear your sad news Squiggle.  That was a lovely post.  God Bless you and I hope you find lots of strength from the fact that you had such a good friend all your life.

I agree justa, squiggs is a special lady.  She has had a sad few months looking after her beloved husband but she always managed to post his progress and keep us up to date.  It was very sad to hear of her loss, nevertheless.  I always love squiggs posts because they brighten up our day with her lovely little pictures and greetings.  Our hearts go out to her at this sad time.

When you click on the smilie you want,when it has been inserted into your post, place your cursor over it and a patternnythingummybobs appears[How techi is that] click on it you will get a little box of squares click on a side or corner when an arrow appears and then drag it to whatever size you want.... if it gets too big drag the arrow in..... enjoy playing!
I dragged bottom right corner to get an elongated shape!

It is not working for me fig.  The squares come up but no arrow appears, or is the arrow my cursor?  I find a lot of things don't work for me on here because I use the AOL browser all the time, so that could explain it.  Nothing happens if I click any of the boxes, or around the boxes .. haha.  Your instructions were spot on, but I think it is my browser because I cannot drag the avvys either.  Drat!  But thank you for taking the time to explain to me how to do it xxxx

Reference: Yes, it is your cursor which turns into a double headed black arrow when you put it over one of the wee boxes.

Twee, what browser are you using? I know you can't drag with IE.

Edit: Oops, I see you are using AOL. I have heard the AOL browser has problems with some of the same stuff IE has.

If the squares are there Twee then you will get an arrow[which is not your cursor] it is like
<-> shape  when you go to a corner or a side square.Click on and hold down on your mouse
Drag it which ever way you want it to stretch! when you have the size you want click on the next space and the squares disappear and hey presto you get a bigger smilie!

  Nah!  I have tried everything to get it to work fig.  It won't budge.  It has to be my browser.  If dragging is involved, the AOL browser refuses to co-operate. 

Fluffy, thank you for trying to help but this avvy dragging highlighted a problem earlier on, and it appears that it will let me do some things and not others.

Thank you both for trying to help me though, I really do appreciate it.
