I know .. he could sleep in any one of those rooms.  It must be just lovely inside and I seen a clip where he was in one of the living areas - it was just like a normal comfortable living room.  Freddie has no pretensions anyway, he is so down to earth and takes living in a stately home in his stride.  That's what I like about him, he is so ordinary whilst being quite extraordinary. 

I have just posted a utube video in the Best Bands thread.  I was fearful that I would get it wrong but that little green box on the right of the smilie symbol is how to post it in a thread (it looks like a filing cabinet) and when you click on it another small screen comes up where you put in the URL.  Voila!  Your utube clip appears on the thread.

It's one of those things Squiggle, some of us have got used to it straight away, some haven't or aren't keen but all you can do is be patient with it.

Such a beautiful house though, he's so down to earth but due to his high class background which he was born into I suppose some will make the assumption that he's smug or patronising or big headed about it.

That's a lovely clip DB.  I love his Timothy Leary t-shirt too.  I noticed on one of his USA videos that he is wearing a tie-die t-shirt.  He really is a big hippy at heart lol.

Darlo my boy! How are you doing? Wanted to reply to you last night but I just kept getting'error on page! Never mind! Lovely here too! Guess who has just spent most of the day cleaning/sorting scruffy kitchen cupboards out then! and had nowt to eat yet cos of the blooming mess!Mind you done a lot of watering outside as well so I have felt the sun on my bum! Started at 6.15 am so I am about knackered ! What am I like! and I am not at all house proud..... just doing my blooming duty 'cos it needed doing! think I will need to stuff a sandwich in my gob for now and have something more tasty this evening!

I've been having a think and what I have decided for the moment is that I will certainly continue to post in this thread.  As I have said before it is my opinion that the ones who have posted on here are among the nicest people who come on this forum.  So I do hope to see plenty of the old names checking in here and I will happily join in and try to keep this Freddie thread on page 1 so at least we have a place where we can all feel at home and have a good natter.

Squigg, it's great that you have decided to stay.  The thread would be less colourful if you decided to leave.  It's our only hope of all staying together if we embrace this new forum.  I prefer the old one, it was much easier to understand but I'm glad I decided to give it a go in the end because I had made a mental note to leave once the changeover took place.  I am so glad I didn't leave now.
