I have found the transition quite easy and I have even 'quoted' in the Cult thread.  There is hope for so many people because if I can do it, anyone can. 

I'm not sure if we can display pictures now .. it says that we need to pay a subscription.  Is that correct?

It's easy once you get used to it TS. You can insert pictures in the text box theres a picture and if you highlight it, it says insert/edit image you can do it that way so no charge.

It worked, I didn't know this until I was told yesterday but the reason is theres less pages is that theres 40 posts on a page, on the old place was 25 so there was lots of big quotes etc but it's more tidy this way.

darlo, I'm not sure if I am quoting right.  My text seems to be within the same box as the quote and I'm sure it should be outside and below your quote.  I am highlighting your post and copy/pasting it onto my new comment box.  I hope that's the right way to do it.  Also, I'm not sure how to put the person's name I am quoting onto my message.  Do I just type their name on the top? 

Yes darlo, the amount of posts within a page is better.  And the 'end' key takes you to the last post anyway, so no scrolling involved.  I quite like the new forum.  Thanx for the tips on posting pictures.

TS you're doing the quoting right, but you have to type outside the box where the quote is.

I caught onto it after I had typed it.  I fink I've got it now, it's like pulling teeth with me to start with but once I've got it, I am sorted.  I also know about the 'reference' part for the name of the quoted text.  Thanks DB xxx

Do you know when Freddie is coming back from the USA?  His videos are great and give a real feel of his joy at seeing new things.  dontcha just love him?

Glad you've got the hang of it, but how do you do the referencing I haven't tried that out yet lol.


I have no idea tbh TS, but it's so kind of him to make the videos to keep his fans upto date and responding to our messages we all understood it would take time but was worth the wait.

Just above the box where the quote is copied/pasted, there is a word - 'reference' and you just type in the name of the person whose quote you have copied/pasted, alongside it.  For some reason, on my last post I had two references to your quote ... DON'T ASK!!!!  haha.  There should only be one name and one quote. 

Freddie is lovely.  He has accepted me as a 'friend' so it gives me access to a lot of things on his Facebook account.  Have you had any messages from him yet?  Are you on Facebook?  Can I add you as a friend?  I am a sad act, I only have two friends so far but I am very selective lol.  Not to mention that I have only joined recently.  You know my name (I think) so if you send me a friend request I can add you. 

I think it should work. Yes I did have a message off him was really nice and sure i'll add you I do have quite a few people off here amongst all the people I know from around where I live or F&F etc so do have lots of people on my account.
