Hello Fredsters wavey

I've been diligently concentrating on LC lately.
Thought if I kept on trying something might actually register in my feeble brain..!

Mainly, I've been in The Bar in The Sinking Ship.
It's friendly and chatty and you'd probably all like it in there as a place to start/catch up with forum friends and acquaintances...?

This is the link: http://taverns.group.livecloud...t/119921449023348254

That will take you to the first page but be warned - they've talked A LOT since then. Big Grin You might like to click on the last page and maybe scroll back to see what the latest topic of convo is. Big Grin

Just dive in and say hello.

wavey Hi cossy, I am in aw.... Clapping

Freddie and Ravi just posted this video, there is an alleyway in Boston covered in graffiti Cool. Wow the place looks amazing and so colourful, must have took them ages to make and the locals must be so proud of it Smiler.

Ta Darlo!
Did Freddie stand in front of the wall while it was being sprayed? Big Grin

I think we will suddenly find that we are 'over there' and then its just a question of adapting to the way it operates.
They did say they would try to give us notice of the move, but don't wory about it. The URL(address) that gets you to these forums will still get you to the forums once they have been embedded in Live Cloud and all the content will still be here, you'll even keep your post count, but the decor will be different. Fluffy! Its going to be a bit more than decor that's different. It could come as a bit of a shock to those who haven't been over there much.

It was wasn't it! It's the mirrors that does it! Big Grin Personally that is one thing I would have hated in the house is all those mirrors!
Mind you when 2 mirrors face each other with an object in between it reflects into infinity! Cool

He has proved what a nice guy he is Smiler, he didn't need the publicity from doing the show unlike the likes of Sophie, Noirin etc and did it because of his interest in social dynamics but he must have hoped to use it to help some way in his Political ambitions Big Grin.

He probably approached it like we all did when BB first started..... It was a very interesting concept and I really loved it; I can still remember the excitement build up on hearing the BB music! The thing is like a lot of people ie viewers you bring these HMs into you own living room for several weeks and feel by the end as if we know them. Each series I actually miss some of them... I think, may be others do too that it can be quite difficult for a while to realise that these people are not part of your world and never will be! Blimey I'm a saddo! :laugh

I took to Freddie from the first minute I saw his VT there was something special I thought appealed to me in his VT and it proved right of course Smiler. He was the first housemate to enter and when we picked numbers to choose which housemate to back on launch night I chose 1 and what a right choice it was Laugh. Yeah he wanted to experience it for himself.

Hi guys wavey Not a lot to report. This pneumonia bug is proving troublesome. As some of you may know he has had so many chest infections before and been given antibiotics I think its proving resistant to it now. Anyway what I think they've done now is to grow a culture from his blood and put him on a new antibiotic which should hopefully deal with it. It also looks as though his swallowing difficulties should have been picked up years ago when he had the stroke. In other words he has been struggling to eat for the last 10 years (and I have been struggling to come up with a diet to keep his weight steady) and all the time it has been unsafe for him to eat. Of course his walking has gone to pot now with him being so unwell so he still has that to face if and when they can get rid of the infection.

He is not even allowed to have a sip of water now and so his mouth is very dry. I have been looking into dry mouth treatments and have come up with Biotene gel and liquid which I have ordered. Hopefully he might get on with one of those. And guess what? Looking up treatments for dry mouth it turns out that it is widely known that radiotherapy to the mouth and neck knocks out the saliva glands so why isn't there more real practical help available for those who suffer from a dry mouth as a consequence? Did you know that he lost all his teeth because of the dry mouth? No saliva = lost teeth! Nowadays they remove all your teeth after radiotherapy but his crumbled slowly bit by bit which was horrible because they didn't know then that people would lose their teeth.

Thank you for all your support, hopefully he can start to make progress now. Hug Valentine
