Morning Cosmopolitan. It's still cloudy here at the moment but it's due to turn sunny later. Then the forecast is good for about 10 days (or so I'm told).
10 days!??? Is it really? Well that's cheered me up 
I loathe it when it's windy and just generally bleurgh, so the thought of sunshine is ok with me.
We haven't been away properly since April and I'm desperate for some Mediterranean sunshine....we're away at the end of the month - but it's only for 5 days and even then, it's more out of necessity than for a real break.
So if Blighty will oblige with a mini heatwave, then that's ok with me.

I have not been married quite as long as you but still 38 years and we have known each other and started going out nearly 43 years ago! I met my husband when I was 13, nearly 14. It seems that there are a few of us on here that are quite ancient LOL.
By the way squiggs, I was so pleased when Sophie won and also pleased that she has dumped Kris and she said in the magazine today that she did not like the way that Kris was nasty to Freddie. She also said how much she liked Freddie!
Anyway I hope hubby makes a speedy recovery and you are holding up well! I will try and pop in for a chat tomorrow my dear. All my love to you and hubby!

Hi Darcy, and thanks for that. I tried leaving you a message on one of your posts on DS but don't know whether you got it. Yes, in the end I was pleased it was Sophie and it was very endearing that she had worked out that they were doing it in reverse order and she had come fifth, bless her.
Still waiting on this and that in the hospital, you know what its like. Who knows we might even get to be online together one day, in the meantime I send you much love. So disappointing that we finally meet up again, only to find ourselves (so to speak) on two different escalators! One day I am sure we will get to chat.

Hi joyron, he is looking brighter, and they seem to have got rid of the pneumonia and underlying chest infection. The physios are going to come and help him with his walking today. His walking is normally not too good so a week in bed won't have helped. His swallowing has improved, but only slightly, so its really just wait and see. Hope you are enjoying the sunshine

I'm glad to hear the news is positive. Hopefully he will soon be back to his old self. Please keep me (us) informed of his prgress.
