I agree. Freddie is the REAL WINNER this year. Both BB and Channel 4 know this is true but they cannot cope with it; so they try to block it out. WE know so we don't care what they try to do. Freddie - the REAL winner of BB10!!!

I've just seen this squiggle. What's wrong with your OH, if you don't mind me asking. Hug

Hi Cologne, back from the hospital now. My hubby has pneumonia. I had to 'phone for an ambulance on Thursday night, he was unable to breathe. He is still on oxygen and they have him on antibiotics and a regular nebuliser. Hopefully we can learn more tomorrow when the doctor makes his rounds. He has difficulties in swallowing following a stroke and radiotherapy which doesn't make for an easy life. wavey

Thanks han, you should see how ridiculously pleased we are to see each other when I get to the hospital. Bloomin daft isn't it considering we have been married nearly 45 years, courting for 3 years before that and we are together 24/7.

Squiggle, I had pneumonia almost 2 years ago. It was very scary because I have COPD and I thought I'd had it TBH. I was on several antibiotics etc, but still had pains after 10 days, eventually they found out that I had fluid on my right lung and it had to be drained. If I hadn't insisted on more stringent investigation, they wouldn't have found that out. I haven't much trust in hospitals, but, saying that, when you're that ill, they're the best place. Last year I had a pneumonia jab which lasts for at least 3 years. It might be an idea to ask your doctor if it's appropriate for your husband. I'm much less scared since I had it. Anyway, I wish him a speedy recovery. Hug

Don't forget to take him something nice to eat when he feels better, the food is gross. Big Grin

Evening everyone. wavey

Been busy out and about and in and out today, so not had much chance to post. Had a quick shufty on LC earlier but couldn't really get into it (I was meant to be doing my e-mails but you know how easy it is to go off tangent.. Big Grin).

Anyhoo, I've got a spare 10-15 minutes now. I wanted to see how your hubby was doing Squiggle - glad to know he's comfortable, and I do send my best wishes for his speedy recovery.

And I hope you're ok too.

Lovely pics of Freddie on the earlier pages, btw.
I missed BBLB today and can't be faffed to record it. The programme's a shower as it is without the thought of Charlie, Lisa and Bea possibly popping up too.

Morning squiggle. Sorry, I hadn't realised your OH had been this ill or I wouldn't have mentioned the food. Hug It's just something I remember so clearly as a godsend when my daughter brought in a Chinese. Smiler I hope he has started to feel a wee bit better now.

I've got to take a few different inhalers and some tablets to keep my lungs as clear as possible. It's self inflicted of course and in the beginning it's hard to reconcile yourself to what you've done to your body, but I've done all that and plod along not too badly (out of breath Smiler ) There's nothing else wrong with me and I have a strong constitution. Hi to Freddie fans Wave it was good to see him again on BBLB yesterday Smiler

I wish Ch.4 would film the party he's having for the HM's. It would be nice to see them in different surroundings and maybe catch up on some of their stories. I'd like to see more of his house, see his family - I missed seeing his dad on BBLB, and of course see more of Freddie and Ravi Big Grin

I wish he'd kick her into touch.
