And thank you squigg. Well, we have seen our boy ripped to bits last night and I don't want to ever see such a verbal assassination of anyone like that again. No, not even Lisa deserves something like that.

I watched the live feed on tape this morning. Listening to Bea was interesting, when she approached the delicate topic of class. It seems that Bea has more of a problem about the stately home than even Lisa has. But then that is always the same with the Middle Class isn't it? They envy the class above them for having more money, a bigger house with more bedrooms than their's, they have a much posher accent, etc.

But Freddie, being all the class-above things, also has an Oxford Degree. That is anathema to someone like Bea who can never achieve the higher echelons of the Upper Classes nor gain a Degree from one of the best Universities in the world. She may have gone to Cheltenham Ladies' College, but she has no class, and her parents have tried to buy her class by sending her to a posh school. You cannot make a silk purse out of a sow's lug. They have also failed to teach her how to speak properly to people, unlike Freddie's parents who have brought Freddie up to be a decent human being. And therein lies the secret of Freddie's classy persona. Manners do maketh the man and if you have class as well, then you have won the lottery of life.

Thoroughly agree Twee, and may I add one of the more colourful phrases which I think sums her up 'you can't polish a turd'

I've just watched the H/L's everyone. Takes a deep breath. Enough said but one thing I will say I was deeply deeply impressed by Freddie's mental strength. It take a strong mind to go through that experience, retain enough nous to know that your body is reacting in a certain way (a shock reaction to the attack) and come back ready to go on. Many people I feel would have been tempted to go the D/R and ask to leave the house.

I totally agree with you squigg. Freddie proved once again that he is made of stern stuff. It was very upsetting watching him get annihilated in that way. A lesser person would have run away. When I think of all the awful things that Freddie has been subjected to in the last 9-10 weeks, I think it has been a high price to pay for being rich, educated and posh. To be put into the house with people who are his polar opposite must have taken its toll on him. He now sees how the people who have been dragged up act towards people who have been brought up properly. Mind you, the people in the house are not representative of the people of Britain in general, thank goodness. BB have chosen the worst of all society and put them in with a diamond that glitters and sparkles, and it was bound to cause class resentment. Poor Freddie has been an outcast since the very beginning.

Neither can I joyron. Even when I am texting I have to say some words in full, put in commas and exclamation marks, and it ends up more as a letter than a text, but I always only ever use the allocated amount of letters/words for only one text. I don't know how I do it actually .. Laugh

Hi, just popped in looking for squiggle, my old friend back on channel 4!

Nice post and I have to agree with you on the nasty Bea, how she has become a turncoat and is now being a real bitch to Freddie!

But I am quite surprised that you say that Freddie has class and he has been brought up to be a decent human being, what about last week when he goaded Lisa and David and laughed in their faces and also Sunday when he told the BB dr lady to f--- off, that was not very gentlemanly of him was it? I am not a fan of Freddies nor a fan of Lisa and David but I do think that sometimes Freddie can be only seen through rose tinted glasses and is not as nice as some people think!

Not taking about from the fact that Bea is a real nasty piece of work and I always thought that she would be Freddies downfall and if not her than Marcus! Freddie seems to have been easily led by both of these two and they have most definitely not helped him. The sooner that Bea goes the better!

Hi squiggle, just popped in to say hello, love your big smiley face and your puddy cat! Hope you are well, I see that you are voting to get out the nasty Marcus. Cant say that I am a fan of either, so dont mind who goes this week but I have to say that Marcus has been awful a lot of the time and I do think that he leads Freddie on a lot! Freddie has been a little naughty this week and does need his knuckles rapped though!

Only a few weeks left of BB, what have you thought of it this year? wavey Hug

Yeah I'm here. Hi Darcy Hug I don't think Freddie fans see him through rose tinted glasses. Most people have agreed that the swearing does not sit well with him. He is young, he IS more immature than Rachel was for instance. But he IS also a gentle person who is maybe too trusting for his own good. Some of the people in that house this year are like caricatures, I am sure you will know what I mean. I have seen him be supportive throughout of just about every person in there. Many people were disappointed in his reaction to Lisa's aggression when they were all up for eviction. Yes he did go on too long. Yes I wish I could say to him, 'don't keep saying how intelligent you are' but for my money he is still the one person in there who has never let anyone down, even though he has been targeted from the first time he walked into the house by more than one person. If it was me being hectored by Bea I am not sure I would have been as mild mannered as he was, and I am a gentle soul.

I know that this year you are a Sophie fan and although I agree that she looks like a nice person to my great disappointment she keeps letting herself down like she did the other night after finding the cigarettes. She should just have asked Marcus about them instead of making a great fuss and causing an almighty row.

I think sweetheart that this year we shall just have to agree to disagree but hey that doesn't mean I am not thrilled that you are here at last. Will you stick around after BB finishes? It is great on here after the show is over and much nicer than C4. Do you know the story of the end of the forum by the way? What a panic THAT was Laugh Hope to speak to you again soon, I will look out for your posts and as they say "don't be a stranger".

I have just seen your post above this one by the way and that is one of the things I love about this thread, honestly the Freddie fans are the loveliest people on this forum by a country mile! wavey

Hi there darloboy, fellow Man United fan, how are you hun, sorry if you are a Marcus fan and also a Freddie fan but one will have to go this week! Have you always been a fan of these two? I have found it very hard to like anybody this year, I dont mind Rodders and I really like Sophie now and I am backing her for the win this year.

But we can still all be friends even if we like different people cant we? As long as none of the real nasty people dont win that is all that matters! I have noticed that Freddie has a big fan club over here, have any of them left at all or have they all stayed loyal to him through thick and thin? Wave Hug

Hi squiggle, yes the Freddie fans do seem very nice and it is great to have some good banter with people that you like!

Yes I am a fan of Sophies this year and it is strange how we have interpretated completely different views of different hms this year!

You see, the other night when she found the cigs and went straight to his friends Siavash, Freddie and Bea, I think that she was shocked more than anything and could not believe that he would hide them when he was a non smoker! I did not see that she done any wrong and if anything stood up to Marcus and he had respect for her for doing so! They talked it out and got over it, it was Bea and Freddie that Marcus had the biggest difference with over it by their reactions!

Anyway we will have to agree to differ on this one and who we like this year but that will not affect our friendship will it squiggs?

Yes, I will stay around and hopefully get to know some of the newer people on here and no I dont know how channel 4 forum finished. I know I popped in and it had a weeks notice but did not know what happened at the end! You can tell me more about that at the end of BB, when there is not so much going on here!

Great chatting hun and I will be around and try to pop in most days! I have to say that I have not got the interest this year that I had last year and previous years. Great year last year when Rachel won though wasn't it? What good memories they are! I dont think that they are such good hms this year.

Speak to you soon hun. wavey Hug Angel

Yes, I noticed that Freddie had dropped to about 4th place but is back on top with Betfair, I think! Hello Fredsters, just a flying visit from me until tomorrow (probably). wavey

Well, hasn't the pantomime cranked up a few notches...??? Eeker

Not a lot to say that hasn't already been said about Bea, but a couple of things concerned me.

Surely she's clever (enough) and has enough perception and intelligence to know that she really didn't need to dig so deep when she blasted Freddie?
And, if I give her the doubt and conclude she's as thick as pig shit, just how dumb is she then...? Because anyone with eyesight, let alone a brain, would and could see that Freddie was emotionally so distressed that the annihiliation job was done and dusted pretty much after 2 sentences. What was gained by turning the knife over and over again?

Who's gained by the viciousness of her spiteful and prolonged harangue?

And also........I know Freddie eventually went into the Diary Room (at who's instigation - his or BB?).
But are they (BB) doing their job properly? Remember Shabaz and his shaky temperament/emotional state?
I'm sure BB called him away from whatever it was that was upsetting him at the time (Was it being sent to Coventry or something like that...?). Why didn't BB step in and help Freddie? If the HL show is to be believed - and let's face it, BB are the only ones with control over what is screened so have sanctioned the edit - then Freddie was displaying signs of great distress and quite clearly NOT dealing with Bea on an acceptable level. He couldn't ennunciate his words, had lost any semblance of articulation and was in an anxious and emotional funk. It didn't come across as someone merely getting put in their place whether deservedly or not.

If he'd been play acting that would have come to light very quickly in the DR, so either way the 'trauma' would have been stopped in its tracks smartly.

Sorry to waffle! I'm not one for playing 'victim' or using the B word....I like people to have backbone and/or intelligence enough to sort their way through things, but last nights show wasn not entertainment nor amusingly evil.

I can't remember where I got the ones in my sig but I store them all on my Photobucket account. We had a great thread on here just before BB started where we all posted smileys we thought might come in handy, and I stole loads of those Big Grin

Hope this helps, happy hunting!!

Wave Hug

I liked Freddie and Marcus from the start Smiler. Course we can be friends even though we like different people. Some have gone off Freddie which is fair enough, but theres still lots of fans around.

Yes, I noticed that Freddie had dropped to about 4th place but is back on top with Betfair, I think! So will it be a fight at the end between, Sophie, Freddie and Siavash do you think or will Charlie come in and take it from all of them or even Rodders? Sophie has also been favourite this week and although I really like her I have noticed that she does not have massive fans on here or ds. So I am not sure where the majority of her fans are, are you?

Sophies got fans out there but I can't understand Charlies popularity Confused, whats that all about lol he's so fake but I just hope he doesn't win theres lots of us who know what his true colours are and he's BB golden boy.

Yes, I agree with you on that one darlo, I find Charlie to be so twofaced, duplicit, whichever one you like to choose. When he has a row with somebody in the house he always says that he has not got a problem with them and likes them and then he nominates them, even Rodrigo, he has nominated. I really dont like Charlie and dont know where his fans are although it could be his fellow gay friends couldn't it! What do you think darlo!

He's sneaky and so two faced, not keen on how he sucks up to everyone and puts on the oh I like everyone act. He's vile and nasty Mad and must have studied past BB winners he must think he will win I would love to see his face when he hopefully doesn't.

Big Grin

The sooner that Bea goes the better!

hi darcy. It's nice to see someone who can come into a thread, who is not a supporter, and comment about a favourite without a negative slant on the comment, and ask one of us a reasonable question. I applaud you.

You asked me why I should say that Freddie has got class and, if so, why did he say what he said to Lisa. Fair comment darcy. But I have to ask you a question about this year's BB in general. Have you watched the show from the start? When I made my comment it was made because I certainly have watched the show from day one and felt I was in a position to make a judgment on Freddie as a whole.

For five solid weeks, Freddie was subjected to the worst kind of bullying ever seen on BB. Most of that bullying was perpetrated by Lisa and her minions Karly, Kris, Charlie, Sophie, etc. The block nominations of Freddie by all of them is evidence that they wanted Freddie out or, at best, force him to leave of his own accord. In that time, his posh accent had been mocked, his singing had been mocked, his parent's stately home had been mocked .. I could go on, but you get the picture?

Why then would you think that because Freddie had gained a foothold in the social group, should he not express his frustration for those five long weeks of torture and direct that frustration to the perpetrator, in a similar format to what he suffered. I would ask you if you remember one of Freddie's eviction nights when Lisa said, in Freddie's hearing, 'I don't know why you are going (to the evictee), the wrong one is going'. I would say that what Freddie said to Lisa was justice being served and a kind of revenge, being a dish best served cold. At no time did I think that Freddie was wrong or out of order for what he said. It is not a case of rose-tinted spectacles either. It was payback time, plus VAT.

With regard to Bea, we seem to agree on her awfulness so there is no need for me to elaborate on her despicable behaviour.
