hi to all Freddie fans wavey

There is very little chance of our boy leaving tonight, and this applies also to my lovely Prince of Persia. But if Lisa does not leave, we are back to square one with her cherry-picking off all the interesting characters, our boys included. It will spoil the last few weeks of the show for us.

Squigg, I had gum problems a while ago. My dentist told me that the very best thing for gum abscesses is salt water. I dissolved some salt in warm water and swirled it round, and then mouth-washed with it after every meal, always making the mouth-wash up fresh every time. The soreness went and the gums healed naturally. Salt has a cleansing and healing effect on abscesses, according to my dentist.

Thanks Twee I will try that. Does anyone know how much salt to add to a small glass of water as I remember once I added too much salt and made my throat really sore?

Agree with what you say also twee has said the same as me that swooshing salt water is the best way to go! about level tsp to a glass.. don't swoosh it to the back of your throat to avoid probs in that area ! Hug

I put about a teaspoonful into a small tumbler squigg, but remember to use warm water as the salt dissolves better and it is gentler on a sore mouth than cold water would be. Swirl small quantities of the mouthwash round your teeth and gums and spit it out, then take other small sips till it's all gone. Like figtree says, don't take it back as far as your throat but keep it at the front of your mouth. Use it like a regular mouthwash you would buy in the shops. It does leave a funny taste in your mouth afterwards but it's worth putting up with it to ease the pain. Good luck squigg. I hope it works for you love because there is nothing worse than a sore mouth. Hug

Hello. Anyone else pacing the floor like an expectant father in the waiting room? Laugh
I've got the champers on chill though!

Squiggle: Glad to hear you're coping ok.
Use as much salt as you can stand. If you can keep the liquid away from your throat it will lessen the sore-ness. But that's not always possible is it?

Thinking of you anyway. Have had the same probs as you but with my front tooth. Sorted now - but still the memory lingers...! Hug

Hira going won't make much difference to the power struggle - or the nominations for next week.
At least Lisa hasn't got a majority clique - that would be a disaster! Eeker

So, expect a bit of Bea vs Lisa next week, although Lisa could do her snidey tactic and play 'nice' again. If she *thinks* the vote tonight was down to between her and Hira, then she'll be on her best behaviour. Roll Eyes Mad

Bea will have to really try hard to get a rise from Lisa....so who will she b*tch about instead?

It'll be interesting who carries on the same, and who adjusts to avoid being nommed.

Anyhoooooo.....I'm almost dead on my feet through tiredness. Had a nightmare drive down from London this evening and nearly missed the start of BB..! Eeker Laugh

Enjoy the rest of your evening; Goodnight. Hug

hi Freddie fans wavey

We have to remove the oxygen from the anti-Freddie threads folks. If we don't post in them, they will have to fall out with each other. I refuse to go into any anti-Freddie threads from now on. Why do we have to justify Freddie to them anyway? It's a waste of time because it goes round and round in circles, and it is not a proper debate. And it would never change my mind about Freddie in any event.

Goodnite all Freddie fans xxx

Morning Lass. I am a little sad to see Hira go. Some anti Freddie people have totally lost the plot!! Poor Videostar did a thread last night trying to tell them they had misheard something but to no avail. If Freddie draws breath now he is accused of being a snob, arrogant and all other sorts of insults. I think you're right, I will (mostly) let them rant and rave but I am still going to put my twopennorth in if I see him being attacked in a totally unfair way. He is still the best HM in my eyes and even if he does not win, he will always be my winner

l've decided to let the anti-Freddy folk get on with it as it is too time consuming to defend him as it just falls on deaf ears. We know he is a good bloke and that's all that matters Thumbs Up

I have to agree Squiggle..... I have been a bit saddened by how Freddie seems to have been really badly attacked on here this past week. I actually got into a forum fight with several people in the early hours of yesterday (about 1 to 2am,) as I felt that SOME people were deliberately trying to bait the Freddie fans, (this is just my opinion.)

Anyway, and it got very heated, as me and several others were battling it out with some people who disliked Freddie. In the end, I just said 'let's agree to differ, and thought I would just stay out of the anti-Freddie threads, because I was falling out with people who I actually do quite like as a rule, and I thought 'this is daft.' So we made up, and I think I'm gonna just let them state their opinions and views and not debate it. Nothing is gonna chnage their minds; OR mine, so it's best left, and not worth fighting over, and risking your membership here.

Anyways, according to the polls, Freddie is still one of the most popular HMS. Smiler

I have just bumped Darlo's poll on the most fave HM, and Freddie is still in the lead, so I think the people who dislike Freddie are still in the minority. Smiler
