Good morning lovely Freddsters and a big big thank you to all the lovely people on here who left messages of support. I will phone the dentist this morning and try to make a quick appointment. Cosmo, I think the dentist has to sort it out because it all came about because the inner wall of my back bottom left molar broke off and he has been struggling to keep the tooth ever since. He kept putting fillings in but as you can imagine there's nothing much there to keep them in and they keep coming out. I have had enough now, the gum got infected (not the first time it has happened) but it has now eroded and is very sore so I think he will take the tooth out, and good riddance, I am fed up with it. Just to put you all in the picture

Anyway, another day of lovely Freddie supporting and I just hope the fuss will die down a bit today. Lisa out tonight everyone???

Just copied this from another thread and it is correct.

He didn`t say it was a bit of pocket money TO HIM. He said it was like pocket money, meaning how low the amount of money is when your signing on. More or less you can`t live on it. Which is true and David agreed.

You will always get this. Folk just posting the opposite of others just to get a reaction. Those are the ones to ignore. Then there are the ones who are genuine in their dislike and don't mind a bit of banter Stick with them

I supported Rachel last year and at about this stage in the proceedings last year it was worse than this. We couldn't even have a supporters thread like this, they followed us and insulted her all the way through the thread I suppose we should count ourselves lucky!

I have just noticed Squiggle saying she is suffering from a gum absess... and read back a bit in here....


Squiggle... strongest and best (imo) over the counter pain relief for this is called "Co-codaprin Disolvable". (thats the generic name.. it may have a different branded name)

You can get them from the chemist. They are codeine and aspirin. If you take them as directed, but in tepid - warm water, and gargle the solution around the absess before swallowing it, it will not only help the absess heal and reduce the inflamation... it will radically reduce the pain.

It did for me!

Don't take any other painkillers with it though.

Thanks for that DPGT. I have managed to get an appointment late Monday and I might not get a chance to get to the chemist before then. But its a kind thought, not too painful at the moment just a bit worrying because it has eroded the gum right down the tooth Thank you

If its not too painful then all is good. I was literally climbing the walls and would happily have put a gun to my head when I had my absess. I was amazed at how effective the co-codaprin were (and v cross that it took a pharmacist friend of the family to tell me about them).

Thanks again Ditty. I know what you mean I had an abscess before which blew up (on a weekend natch) overnight and had to get the tooth extracted by the emergency dentist (it cost a fortune of course) and my cheek swelled up like a hamster with a month's food supply in there, and it was AGONY!!!
