Last night Noirin admitted she now fancies Tom, told Siavash they shouldn’t continue to be so close together and admitted to Marcus she shared a kiss with Siavash. Unsurprisingly the revelations have been the talk of the house with Halfwit giving Noirin his view this afternoon…
“I quite like the idea of pretending nothing happened and moving on,” said Siavash, referring to his kiss with Noirin and how Marcus could react.
“Why do you think Marcus is upset?” she asked, stirring it up.
“Well, obviously he fancies you and you don’t fancy him back so that is one level of upset,” explained Halfwit. “But what’s driving that more is the feeling that you’ve led him on,” he added to the shock of Noirin.
“How though?” she gasped.
“It’s definitely a vibe that I picked up on – that both of you knew there was no way you two would hook up, but you were still kind of entertaining that in the way you were acting,” he explained to the continued gasps from Noirin.
“How though? Give me examples,” she demanded, “I’ve told him a number of times I’m not interested.”
“The words you say are a very small part of the communication,” Halfwit explained. “It’s not as straightforward as that. I do think that after a certain point, you were obviously awkward. Before that point, you might have been saying you were just friends, but you were communicating interest. Unfortunately, by this time Marcus had allowed himself to emotionally invest in the situation.”
Noirin was speechless.
So has Noirin been leading him on and what will happen with her and Tom? Ooh, it’s like a mini soap opera!
