LOVE IT.....got it a lot when I lived in Norfolk and, in season, always come home with loads of it when I visit, and I can get it where my sisters live in Turkey....with butter and black pepper YUM YUM YUM. When I was out to eat last week I ordered a smoked trout and samphire starter, just 'cos of the samphire, DELICIOUS

We get it down here direct from the fishmonger on the beach.
Not sure, but depending on the time of year can affect the saltiness...?  I like it raw in salads with other mixed leaves, but as you say, blanched with a knob of butter is delish too.

I'm sure they got that blonde woman to re-score on the final day of her week.  It was the one with Bill (ex That's Life presenter) and local radio DJ, the aussie guy who 'borrowed' his mates flat, the girl who had a bubble machine blowing stuff out of her bedroom window, and the Jamaican lady who was there to make up the numbers.

If you don't get it from the above then I'm stumped.
