How are you?
Lots better in myself thanks Baz, been working from home this week, BUT leg is not good, nurse said yesterday that she's really not happy with it and disappointed that the dressings she's been using haven't worked. She's probably going to try something else next week....think it's going to take a v long time :-(

that doesn't sound good   I think you need to ask for a referral back to hospital and the tissue viability nurse I mentioned    or ask them what's the chances of having vacuum assisted closure for the wound???

Pengy, I don't really understand all of that, but the problem is that it's healing too quickly at the edges and the carp in the middle that needs to come out isn't softening and being drawn out...would one of the things you mentioned help with that?

What they are talking about is granulation of the wound    Vacuum assisted closure is normally done for burns victims - but it's sometimes used on wound that won't close or granulate properly.  I'll send you a Pm with info on it later
