I'm not in the least scared of mice,we have a garden and it was a freezing night so they do venture in.

We don't put down poison bait now because of Hugo,no sign of it since maybe it's staying clear now it had a narrow escape from the cat.

I live in a pretty rural area and we found two little mice in our garage - I've never seen youngest son move so fast. You'd never have thought he used to have pet mice and gerbils when he was small.

I know that but when you're running an establishment like a B&B rooms should be checked every day - especially as that mouse was in a couch that could be used as an extra bed   It's a management problem he has there that needs addressing

My brother once dropped off some bedding plants he's grown at work - without realising, a field mouse was asleep inside.  It shot out behind the cooker.  I stopped screaming a few hours later and then brother managed to catch it and put it in a box and released it back near his work place

Yea Yogi,I love rodents, though maybe draw the line at wild rats in the house! The last time the guy came and put bait traps down said there is no such species as the "House mouse" It's just an adapted field mouse, over a few generations they change in colour and develop flatter skulls to get into smaller spaces etc.quite interesting actually.

I think some of the have had a wonderful time.....but it definitely needs a few tweaks here and there

It sounds like he's not been doing this all that long and I hope when he sees the evidence i.e. that there was a pubic hair on the pillow despite it being 'checked' he will take it on board and be a bit more rigorous with his cleaning and checking routine.

Many more complaints like that and he could go out of business fast.  Whilst I agreed about the mushrooms and eggs being watery and needing straining, that was a very minor problem in my book

Oh well look forward to tomorrows couple
