Why is it on this programme people never put the main in while their guests are eating the starter?

Instead of waiting for everyone to finish their starters first..

Gawd knows ... and he could have made that before the starter and just kept it warm

As a game plan I am always amazed how those cooking later in the week seem to go out of their way to upset everyone....

I would want to cook last - then I'd do something really light.

I can't imagine having to eat three courses of rich food for a whole week

I have hosted enough dinner parties in my time and I try to do dishes that need minimum last minute cooking..
Just makes no sense ... maybe they are not allowed to cos it doesn't make for good telly?

Those mini corn thingies are one of the few foodstuffs that I really dislike
