the police were originally going to take it to the nearest pull in, but he asked them nicely if they could have a go at getting him home as our house was close. So they agreed to give it a go. The tow bar lasted till he was just round the corner from our house before it broke. Son and MrM then only had to push it a short way. So he was so gratefull to the police.
