yes, they have these (brilliant) ideas from Uni, but no experience..

bet it doesn't work properly when winter comes and they need to heat the place...

Same here !  Bliddy expensive to buy , and takes quite a while to recoup the outlay !

MrM bought seeds instead of turf, but it took continual care and awhile to grow

exactly....the gas guy who did our service, said it was rubbish and so many have problems!

Yes , and seeds look better …eventually …. but they needed it to look half decent immediately
