we had some stone walls like those in their bathroom...
they are soo thick and keep house cool in summer and warm in winter but as Simon says...don't try moving them ....

Yes, Ros son went to uni there I think ππI think we visited a couple of times when we first moved up here π

No, never went on the railway β¦.we were only passing through really
they knew how to build those houses 200 years ago!
MrM was shocked at how thick the wall were on our old house, aprox the same age...
the frontage is exactly the same as our old house

my friend's son is a scaffholder...always plenty of work round here for those roofs
the roofer is called Dai...lots of Dai's here
