conversation with son last night when he got home (about 11) from rehearsals...

me feeling grumpy from this cough..."wash your hands as soon as you get in, especially before you start eating Easter Egg!, you will kill me one of these days, with these colds you keep giving me"

son whilst shoving choc in his mouth..."stop nagging, I am with the same people in 1 room 6 hours a day, so colds pass anyway".

me..."well wash hands as soon as you enter house, as it helps stop cold germs".

huffy son..."ok, I get it, promise I will"...

how long before he forgets as he doens't eat much, and just shoves a biccie or choc in when he gets in late.

the nagging will continue, isn't it what us mums are for?

oh and he did give me a hug and wish me "Goodnight" after he washed his hands, even though he said it was too late by then, as he'd already eat the chocolat.
