Still very swollen â€Ķ.skin is very tight â€Ķ.I’ve not tried anything but the cooling gel yet as it’s ok as long as I’m not standing/walking on it â€Ķ.so I’m trying to get the swelling down â€Ķ..

glad it is ok whilst sitting, so yes, that is all you can do, is avoid standing/walking as much as possible to get the swelling and tightness to go down.

Trouble is , as I’m on my own , I can’t even have a cuppa if I don’t walk and make it But I’m back to doing what I did when I broke it , and waiting until I can do several things with one visit .

yes it must be very frustrating.

have you thought about a flask?

I fill mine with hot coffee first thing in the morning, and sip it when I want it, and it lasts till lunch time.
