Still too hung over to list them here Jen?
Thanks *goes to click*
They're known as 113, 115, 117 and 118 EC, 113 was discovered someone in Japan so they're getting to name it.... One of the names in the running Japonium
"118 EC" !!
I wholeheartedly approve of that name.
I think Japonium is not the best, I'm sure they could think up something more "SciFi" than that.
Rikenium and Nishinanium are the other two in the running

See it as brain training courtesy of EC.
If any element greater then 118 is created, the periodic table would have to have a new row as the 7th has been completed.

On a Star Trek theme, at some point they need to name an element 'Tiberium'
I heard today that because one of them is a heavy metal element that, in view of his recent demise, that Lemmyonium is gaining traction!

How about Lemminite?
That's a very ungainly mouthful = Lemminium would be the way that would be done.
Lemminium - pronounced lem-EYE-ni-um.

At this point I would post a link to Tom Lehrer's element song. As I can't seem to post links any more, google it... its brilliant!
I've just thought...how good would it be if we all had elements named after ourselves?
Mine would be (Pam)demonium
