Moin Moin! One was fighting a losing battle on that other social intercourse place. Everyone wanted Spain to win. It would have been a fairytale ending if Germany had done. All my Hannover based mates particularly wanted a win in the memory of Enke, however next time maybe? Meanwhile one would like to see Van Bommel kick 'em, particularly  Ramos, up in the air.

Same for me & hubby we were distraught when Robert died.

I backed holland each way before the start thinking they represented value so at least I have won a little! However Spain were the favourites to win with good reason. They were tougher than the german youngsters. Maybe the Dutch hardmen will stand up for themselves but I feel Spain will win.

Turns out after tests she has a kidney infection. She was delerious last night, fever and such. I think the anti-biotics are starting to work today. She's not so bad but still having hot/cold episodes. However she got up to watch the corrie street thing. Thanks for asking no way do I want Franco's bunch to win! I always support the loca team!

My DIL is half Dutch Lazybug. Her mum is Dutch and her dad is Indian so they are supporting Holland.

My other son (not the one that's married to her) has been wearing a bright orange polo shirt for all the Holland matches. And on the Arsenal forum they have a poll running about who the fms want to win tonight - out of loads of votes only one is for Spain!
